Honestly… how is it FOUR YEARS since I started building my little Glam Studio?!
I genuinely can’t believe it. Without a doubt, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Has it been plain sailing? Absolutely not. There’s been sweat, tears, stress, plenty of learning curves and quite a few moments of “what am I actually doing?” But looking back now, I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.
Because seriously… what’s better than having your very own GLAM STATION in your back garden?
Over the last four years I’ve so many gorgeous faces, done all sorts of beauty treatments and worked out what works for me, what doesn’t and, more importantly, what I actually want my studio to be.
So some of the beauty treatments have gone, but one thing has NEVER changed…
My love for MAKEUP.
I’ve always loved this job. 30 years in makeup and I still get excited about making someone feel amazing. And let’s be honest, what’s better than getting your glam on?
Nothing. I won’t be accepting arguments on that one.
And then came the newer addition to the Glam Studio — my 1-2-1 makeup masterclasses.
These have been INSANELY popular.
Three hours of makeup, tips, tricks and absolutely NO gatekeeping. After 30 years in the makeup game, I’ve picked up a few things along the way, and I’m more than happy to share them.
I’ve also gained so many amazing new clients over these four years, and honestly, to every single person who has walked through my studio door…

Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning, found me recently, had your makeup done, booked a treatment, joined me for a masterclass or simply popped in for a chat and a laugh — I appreciate every single one of you.
Four years in and I’m still here.
Still learning. Still creating. Still glamming., Still stressing but very much still here .
And that’s what I love most about building something of your own. You learn as you go, you change things when they need changing, you back yourself and you keep moving forward…..or pretend too have it all figured out !!

Meet beautiful Amy, who came to me at Le Petit Château with absolutely no time for a trial. No pressure then…
So we went straight in and created the look on the day — soft, natural, smokey and completely flawless. Exactly what she needed to complement her stunningly unique dress, which was quite literally made for her personality.
Glowy, perfected skin, a soft smokey eye and just enough definition to make those gorgeous features pop without taking away from the whole bridal look.
And can we talk about that dress? Absolute perfection. Unique, beautiful and unapologetically Amy.
Proof that sometimes you don’t need a trial… you just need a little trust, a steady hand and a makeup artist who knows how to work under pressure.
Amy, you looked absolutely incredible. What a bride. What a dress. What a last-minute decision.

Booking Fee = Date Locked: Once paid, your booking fee officially secures your wedding date.

This is a non-refundable fee that closes off my studio diary to all other clients. Running a business means time is precious, and this guarantees that your date is 100% yours. • Trials Are For Booked Brides Only:
Because studio time is packed, I only offer trials to my officially booked brides.

Wedding Season Chaos❤️
Another week, another round of beautiful brides, gorgeous ladies, wedding madness and A LOT of GLAM!
Honestly… what a week. I’ve got another 6 weeks of this glorious chaos ahead of me and, hand on heart, I absolutely LOVE it. The stories, the laughter, the lovely people and all the little moments in between are what keep me going.

That… and Red Bull and coffee. Obviously.

I’ve got TWO huge bridal parties thrown into the mix this week, so I’m already looking forward to another manic but fabulous few days. Although I could quite happily do without those 3:30am starts.

Because let me tell you… there is absolutely NOWT glamorous about being a makeup artist when your alarm is going off at 3:30am.

I’ll also be playing catch-up with the admin early this week because, well… who has time for paperwork when there are faces to beat and weddings to get everyone ready for?

And now, before tomorrow’s wedding trials, I have HUNDREDS of brushes and an entire kit to clean.

So if anyone needs me, I’ll be surrounded by brushes, disinfectant, coffee and questionable levels of caffeine.

Would I change it? Absolutely not.
