Happy Mother’s Day mama pixie 🧚🏼‍♀️

As I’ve been scrolling through all my pics of you to post this morning, I noticed the majority of them are of you being a model for me, letting me practice on you, always being my first guinea pig.

Thank you for supporting me and my business every step of the way.

From helping me fill out my college application ➡️driving me to and from my first salon job ➡️letting me use your house as my own salon when first going self employed ➡️being there through plenty of breakdowns & breakthroughs➡️rebranding & redecorating➡️always being a helping hand at the salon➡️ being the black & white decision maker to my chaotic mind, the list goes on but we don’t have all day, we have a brunch to get to 😂🥐🥞☕️🍓🥑

Why self love matters - skin edition 💌

❣️ Working on your positive mindset, mental health & gratitude will in time reduce stress levels, increase happy hormones and help you to see the good in your skin. Take it from someone that’s worked with skin for 10+ years, being harsh and negative about your skin ALWAYS makes things worse.

❣️ Keeping promises to yourself will improve discipline and self respect which will go a long way when sticking to routines and tweaking listed style habits to improve your skin health.

❣️ Nourishing your body without over restricting. Your body and skin need nutrients. Your body and skin needs fats. Your body and skin need a variety of colour on your plate.

❣️ Setting personal boundaries to protect your peace, reduce stress levels and ensure you stick to your skin plan.

❣️ Treat and invest in yourself as you would for a loved one. If a loved one had a problem, you would want to do all you could to help, recommend professionals that could assist, buy them things to aid them, etc. Show yourself that same care!

❣️ Weekly face masks needs no explanation, it’s self care 101🤪
