Strong hips aren’t built by accident.
These 4 exercises help improve:
✅ Hip strength
✅ Hip mobility
✅ Stability
✅ Control through a full range of motion
The combination of strength + mobility is what helps you move better, perform better, and stay more resilient.
Save this reel and include these in your weekly routine.

Hip mobility isn’t just about being flexible, it’s about improving your running economy, generating more power for those hill sessions, and giving your knees a break! 🏃♀️🏋🏼🤩
When hip mobility is limited, your body often compensates elsewhere—putting extra stress on your knees, calves, or lower back. Over time, this can affect your running efficiency and even contribute to injury.
Add a few minutes of hip mobility and strength work into your weekly routine—your future runs will thank you.
Save this for your next warm-up and send it to a running buddy who skips mobility! 🏃♀️🔥
Single-leg strength training has been one of the biggest game changers for my running.
Running is essentially a series of single-leg hops, so building strength, stability and control on one leg helps improve force production, balance, coordination and injury resilience. While bilateral lifts are great for building overall strength, adding exercises like split squats, SL glute bridges and copenhagens has helped me feel stronger and more efficient when I run.
The goal isn’t just to lift more weight—it’s to build strength that transfers to movement. That’s what I mean by being more “functional”: developing strength, stability and power in positions that actually show up in sport and everyday life.
Stronger on one leg = better movement, better performance, and hopefully a faster runner. 🏃♀️💨
