A huge congratulations to LW Sports Therapy client Peter Mitchell of Black Line Coaching on an incredible performance representing Scotland at this year’s Commonwealth Games in track cycling! 🇸🇨🚴

Competing against some of the world’s fastest riders in the velodrome, Peter produced a series of outstanding performances:

🥉 8th in the Keirin
🚴 13th in the Sprint
👊 6th in the Team Sprint (new Scottish record)

Even more impressively, Peter and the Scottish team set new Scottish record in the team sprint – an incredible achievement and a testament to the dedication, commitment and countless hours of hard work that have gone into reaching this level.

We’re incredibly proud to play a small part in Peter’s journey, helping to keep him healthy, strong and performing at his very best.

Congratulations once again, Peter. What an amazing achievement for both you and Scottish Cycling – we can’t wait to see what’s next! 👏💪

Last weekend was the Lakeland 100 & 50 and 3 of our LW Sports Therapy sponsored athletes were all ready and prepared for a tough hard few days in the mountains for their upcoming Lakeland adventures! Amy Crowe Coaching had a brilliant race on her 5th Lakeland 100 and dug deep in challenging conditions to collect her slate and finish in under 32 hours! Huge congratulations Amy. Chris Pidgeon was in the 50 mile race this year and Chris pushed hard to finish in 12hr24! Brilliant work Chris. Rachel Jones was more than ready for her 2nd attempt at the 100 this year after the disappointment of last year which was none of her fault, Rachel was determined to get the job done this time, unfortunately Rachel slipped while crossing a stream and broke her ankle at 33 miles, and unfortunately had to withdraw. We all know Rachel will come back from this setback stronger and more determined than ever!!! You will get this done Rachel! Well done Team! Hugely proud of each and everyone of you! Huge congratulations to our very own Lesley Dawson who finished 3rd overall in the Outlaw Triathlon today which turned into a Duathlon due to the swim being cancelled! Awesome work Lesley.
