Sophie joins us at GLOW with more than seven years experience in hairdressing, with a particular passion for cutting, styling and balayage.

She takes the time to listen to her clients and understand their individual style and desired look, creating styles that make them feel confident and their best. One of her favourite parts of hairdressing is seeing the difference great hair can make to how someone feels!

Sophie joins Cheryl on the salon floor and is available to book from October 13th - appointments are on the system now!!

GLOW Dalry is growing its team of independent professionals, and we’re looking for talented people who’d love to run their own business from an established salon.

This is more than a chair or room to rent. We want to give you a comfortable, fully serviced space so you can focus on your clients and your business, while we handle the day-to-day running of the salon.

✨ Depending on what you need, we can offer:
* Treatment rooms, salon chairs and nail stations
* Furniture and working space
* Reception support
* A booking system, if you need one
* Help with social media, if you need it
* Client parking
* Staff room facilities
* Regular salon cleaning
* A professional, welcoming space for you and your clients

✨ We’re currently looking for:
* Hair stylists
* Nail technicians
* Beauty therapists
* Skin specialists
* Lash technicians
* Visiting podiatrists / foot health professionals

And we’d love to hear from anyone else whose work would fit well at GLOW.

You don’t need to come in full-time. We can also offer part-time days or regular visiting clinics - good if you’re building up a client base gradually.

✨ What is KCR with Rachel?

Kinetic Chain Release is a protocol developed by Scottish Physiotherapist Hugh Gilbert to bring the body back to balance.

Life causes our bodies to become out of balance or natural alignment and then aches, pains and stresses build up. When this happens you feel more tense and restricted, physically and energetically.

Maybe you have had a fall or accident, issues arising in pregnancy or childbirth, sporting injuries, wear and tear from your working life, leg length difference, be dealing with stress or simply aware you’re not standing straight and walking tall. Things just don’t feel right in the way you move.

Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) gently releases tension in key joints in the body using a protocol of specific stretches. This allows your body to release restrictions and return to its natural alignment. Your improved posture helps to re-establish balance and bring a sense of ease back into your everyday movements. This also positively affects other systems in your body systems like your digestion, or nervous system. This is because your body is more relaxed so it can work more harmoniously and effectively.

✨ Who is it for?
Kinetic Chain Release is known to bring lasting relief from an incredible list of problems including (but not limited to):

• Back, Neck & Shoulder pain

✨ What happens in a KCR session?
KCR is a series of stretches carried out while you are lying on the massage table. You will be fully clothed other than shoes. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes eg leggings/joggers and a t-shirt.

✨ How many sessions are required?
1-3 sessions in quick succession (weekly) are usually required to acheive balance, the majority of clients feel an improvement after just one treatment. Maintenance every 4-6 weeks is then recommended.
