‼️THESE BROWS NEEDED LASER ! but here's why I made an exception. 👇
When clients come to me with old brows that have turned blue, grey or ashy, laser tattoo removal is almost always my recommended route.
Why? Because it removes the unwanted pigment rather than trying to cover it up.
In Jasmine's case, her brows were very blue and heavily saturated, making her an ideal laser candidate. However, she was extremely nervous about laser and wanted to explore colour correction instead.
During our consultation, we had a very honest conversation about the pros and cons.
To neutralise blue brows, we need to introduce warm tones such as orange. While this can create a more natural-looking result, it can also make future removal more challenging. Warm corrective pigments don't always respond as well to laser, meaning you may need additional removal methods, such as saline removal, later down the line.
So why did I agree to colour correction?
✔️ Jasmine had enough natural brow hair to help disguise the existing pigment.✔️ She was happy with the overall shape of her brows.✔️ She understood that her brows would look orange during the neutralisation stage.✔️ She was prepared for the possibility of more regular maintenance appointments in the future.
Colour correction isn't always the right answer, and I will always recommend what I genuinely believe is best for each client. In Jasmine's case, after a thorough consultation and understanding all the risks and limitations, colour correction was the right choice for her.
This is why every brow journey is different — and why a proper consultation matters so much.

✨ 3 Common Myths About Semi-Permanent Brows ✨
Thinking about booking your semi-permanent brows but feeling unsure? Let's bust 3 of the biggest myths I hear all the time...
❌ MYTH #1: "Brows turn blue over time."
This can happen when incorrect pigments are used or when pigment selection isn't suited to the client's skin. Modern pigments have come a long way, and an experienced artist understands colour theory, pigment composition, and how pigments heal in different skin types.
By choosing high-quality inorganic pigments with lower levels of iron oxide and selecting the correct colour for your skin tone, hair colour, and undertones, your brows can heal beautifully and fade naturally over time without turning blue.
❌ MYTH #2: "Semi-permanent brows look thick, blocky and unnatural."
Years ago, treatment options were much more limited. Today, there are a wide variety of pigment shades and techniques available, allowing us to create bespoke brows that enhance your natural features rather than overpower them.
Whether you prefer a soft and subtle result or a more defined look, your brows should be tailored to complement your individual skin tone, hair colour, face shape, and personal style. Natural-looking brows are always the goal.
❌ MYTH #3: "The procedure is really painful."
Most clients are surprised by how comfortable the treatment actually is. A skilled artist will understand the importance of working at the correct depth and using the appropriate pressure for your skin type.
Choosing the right needle cartridge, using proper technique, and avoiding unnecessary trauma to the skin can make a huge difference to your comfort during the procedure and support better healing afterwards.
✨ The key to beautiful results isn't just the treatment itself—it's choosing an educated, experienced artist who understands skin, pigments, colour theory, and technique.
If you've been considering semi-permanent brows but have been held back by these myths, feel free to send me a message and I'll be happy to answer any questions. đź’›

For 51 years Yin has never seen herself with brows, even as a child her brows were super sparse!
She’s been drawing them on every day, and said it took so much time in the morning and was a faff trying to get them even.
She’s been contemplating semi permanent make up but was really scared to commit incase they went wrong or just didn’t suit her.
Yin found me on Instagram and after 2 consultations and pre mapping she decided she felt confident enough to make that jump.
After I showed her, her brows she told me I can never retire and that comment will stay with me forever! 🤍🤍
This one little tip will help make your semi permanent make up last longer this summer
Why do PMU brows look so intense straight after your appointment? đź‘€
Fresh off the needle, brows often appear darker, fuller, and more defined—but this isn’t the final look. As your skin heals, the pigment softens, fades, and even shrinks slightly, leaving you with a much more natural result.
That’s why the healed brows are what truly matter—not how they look the moment you leave.
My pigment choices and technique are all about creating soft, natural-looking brows that enhance your features beautifully.
If you’ve been sitting on the fence about getting your brows done, I hope this reassures you 🤍 The healing process is completely normal—and the end result is always worth it.
Any questions? My DMs are always open đź’Ś
There is honestly no better feeling than this 🥹✨
Watching her see her new PMU brows for the first time and light up like that is exactly why I love what I do. It’s never just about brows — it’s about confidence, self-love, and helping someone feel like the best version of themselves.
Her reaction says it all 💕 These moments remind me that I’m not just creating brows… I’m creating smiles, restoring confidence, and giving my clients that little spark when they look in the mirror.
So grateful to do a job that fills my heart every single day đź’«
