How to Prepare for Your Christmas Beauty Appointments at Alora Beauty, Darwen ☁️✨

Christmas glam starts with good preparation. Here’s how to get ready for your lash, brow, nail, facial and makeup appointments so you get the BEST results this festive, busy season 🎄🤍

✨ Lashes
– Come with clean, product-free lashes
– No mascara or strips 24 hours before
– Avoid caffeine the day of your appointment

✨ Brows
– Arrive makeup-free
– Avoid retinol / active skincare for 48 hours
– Don’t tweeze or trim beforehand - we’ll shape them perfectly for you

✨ Nails
– Remove old polish / gel if needed
– Use cuticle oil in between appointments
– Send inspiration pictures prior to appointment

✨ Facials & Makeup
– Avoid makeup & heavy skincare that morning
– Pause retinol / strong actives for 48–72 hours
– Drink plenty of water for maximum glow

We are so excited to announce that Ruth will be joining the salon from October, offering acrylic and gel nails with the funkiest nail art you ever did see!

Initially Ruth’s working days will be Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. She is an already experienced nail technician who is known for her crazy nail designs and 3D art - if this is your cup of tea, Ruth is definitely your girl 💅🏽

As Ruth already has an established clientele, I would advise for you to make your enquiries and arrange appointments as soon as possible! We are coming up to possibly the busiest time of the year in the beauty industry, so we would highly recommend to secure your appointment slots now.
