Hi everyone, I posted last year that I’d be taking bookings at the beginning of this year for parties and events.

As much as I would love to and also to be in the position to do so. The reality is that I am far from ready 💔.

Our beautiful Madelyn’s funeral will be on the 26th of August at 11am, St Mary’s church CT14 7NQ.

Children are obviously more than welcome and we’ve asked for the service to be a celebration of Madelyn’s life, no Hymns, her favourite songs, we don’t want it religiously heavy, we want it light and in a way that children will understand. It’s going to be Madelyn friendly!!!

I am so very aware that Madelyn’s friends have been through enough and if they decide they want to come I don’t want to cause them any more distress. There is no dress code for them.

Madelyn’s favourite colour was yellow if they wanted to go with something like that, but I know my girl and she’d want to wear her ripped jean shorts and air force 1s, so whatever they are comfortable with.

If they can’t cope with the funeral then they can come to the wake at Bettes Bar if they want to attend that, but it’s completely the parents call.

Family flowers only please, but if anyone wants to make a donation please do so via Dilnot Smith for the Papyrus Charity — with Chris Ford.
