✨Anti-wrinkle treatment working its magic✨

So how does anti-wrinkle treatment work?

Botulinum Toxin contains a protein that, when injected in to the muscle, blocks the connections between the nerve endings and the muscle, meaning the muscle is relaxed & can no longer contract to create the lines and wrinkles that come from our facial movement & expressions, also known as ‘Dynamic’ lines/wrinkles.

Over time, the lines & wrinkles we see when moving our faces & making facial expressions become deeper & fixed in to the skin. They are then known as ‘Static’ lines/wrinkles.

Will Anti-wrinkle work on Static lines?

Botulinum Toxin is a preventative, rather than a ‘cure’ so although having this treatment can significantly reduce the visibility of static lines over time by relaxing the muscle, it will not eradicate them completely due to other ageing factors coming in to play.

When having your Anti-wrinkle treatment with TJ Aesthetics, we will always go through a full consultation & analysis of the area being treated to ensure you understand the process & have realistic expectations when it comes to results.
