Hey lovely people! I’ve had a rare slot come up for Wednesday if anyone has been thinking about trying to book in? It’s been a busy summer again, so I know many of you have had to wait longer than you may like!

Annual touch-up for this client. Originally she had powder brows with some hairs strokes (aka: combo brows) but today I felt she just needed a little extra definition, so I went with microbladed brow strokes only, using a 9 classic microblade and I ❤️ Ink in Dark Brown.

The government and media used the pandemic as a great platform to make cash seem “dirty” and to deter people from using it. Most of my clients as a result turned to card, though some are thankfully doing bank transfers for me instead.

What this has fundamentally meant, is that not only have I paid an enormous amount more in card fees, but it also means things like tips, need to be claimed if paid using a card because it’s traceable.
Some of you may think that is a good thing, but I think most of you will agree, the whole point in a tip, is that it’s a little bonus to show your appreciation for the person/service you received, and I for one always want to know the waitress/hairdresser/nail tech/barman that I am tipping will receive 100% of that tip.

With a cashless society, all that goes away!
