I just want to reassure all my lovely customers that I am still blending. As you would imagine I wear gloves when I am blending but I am now wearing them when I am packing your products. The post is taking a little longer and I am not delivering for obvious reasons. Stay safe and be vigilant xx

To help us through these times, try using some essential oils.
Eucalyptus is very good to help breathing. The old fashion way of "steaming".. a bowl of hot water with 5 or 6 drops of eucalyptus in it..put your head under a towel and over the bowl.
Eucalyptus Smiithi can be used for children with breathing difficulties. Children might not like putting their heads under a towel, but putting a bowl of hot water with the oils in in a safe place close to them will help. Or putting 1 drop of oil to 1 ml of carrier oil ( sweet almond, even vegetable oil if you have nothing else).
Lavender and Frankincense to bring down temperature and manage fever. 5 or 6 drops in a bowl of cool but not cold water wiped over head neck and chest with a flannel.
Chamomile and Lavender , to calm.
Bergamot and Peppermint to uplift
These marvellous oils can help us every day to make life a little more pleasant.

As hand sanitisers run out in the shops, and the Coronavirus starts to hit us hard, you can make your own version using essential oils. Remembering that this is a virus, the following oils have antivirus properties as well as antiseptic, anti-fungal
and antibacterial: Lavender, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree and Thyme.
The following have antiseptic and antiviral: Cinnamon, Clove, Eucalyptus Lemon, Garlic, Oregano and Sage.
To make 100mls of hand wash, choose one or more oils (no more than 4) and blend 150 drops in total to 20 mls Aloe Vera gel and then dilute to 100mls with filtered or floral water. Decant into a spray bottle.

Winter has hit early this year with all the rain and wind.
Two ways to help your horse cope.
One...make a cup of peppermint or chamomile, or fennel tea and add it to their feed. Horses love it and it helps to keep chills at bay.
Two..blend some ginger essential oil in some sweet almond or coconut oil and give little massage. 1 drop of essential oil to 1 ml of base oil, unless you are giving a head massage. Then use 1 drop to 5 mls. Ginger is warming, but also helps with nervous exhaustion.

There are many products on the market to help with eczema and psoriasis, including steroid creams. I don't doubt that some of them work, but some of them also have long lasting side effects, like thinning of the skin when steroid creams are used.
