Good evening everyone.
For those who have been asking about Gary’s funeral here are some details.

The funeral will be held at the Trent Valley crematorium on the 12th of December at 12.30pm He requested everyone wear something colourful and if they possibly could pass on donations to the family who will share them between Marie Curie and Tree tops. We'll be heading off to the 102 club on Ashbourne road afterwards to celebrate his life and give him the send off he truly deserves.

Thanks for all the support and lovely messages over the past few days. They mean a lot x

It is with great sadness in my heart letting you all know the passing of one of my best friends and former boss Gary Mann.
Gary had been battling cancer for the last year and that battle has finally come to an end.
Many of you knew Gaz so I just thought I’d share
rest in peace my mate love ya always

Hi all.
Big announcement today!!!
After 30 + years in the industry I have taken the decision to end my career as a barber.
This hasn’t been an easy decision however it’s just not possible financially anymore.
I would like to thank each and every one of you that has supported me through my time as a barber, some of you have been with me since right at the beginning when I started with my dad.
I have made so many very good friends both customers and colleagues and I will remember you all.
So I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️.

My last day at Abby Sillah Hair will be on Saturday 5th of August.

My good mate Ollie will be taking over from the 8th so please go and see him and give him the same support you have given me. He will also be taking over the page too so you can message him here.

Well just 1 month short of 5 years of my own shop I’ve dropped the shutter on it for the last day. Wonder what derbion will put in place of the market.

Could it be back??? You never know maybe one day. (No where near the derbion though..tossers 😂)
Onward to the next chapter.

It is with great disappointment and sadness I write this post.
We will be closing our shutters for the last time on Wednesday 29th March 2023.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you that have supported me and Ollie for the last 5 years. You have all been fantastic and I am so grateful to you all.

Ollie shall be moving to a shop on St Peter’s church yard called saints.

I shall be starting work at Abby sillah hair (formerly Class Act) on east street opposite greggs on Saturday 1st April.
(No it’s not an April Fools lol).

Thank you all again for everything and hopefully see you all soon.
