These are just some of the symptoms of impacted wax. Our ears are generally self cleaning however when the natural process is interrupted (cotton bud use, wearing ear buds/hearing aids, ageing process), wax impaction can occur.

Removal of wax via suction is one of the safest types of wax removal provided it is performed by a trained practitioner with experience. I am fully trained to perform wax removal and have been doing so regularly for the last 4 years.

I offer an ear assessment at every visit and wax removal can be performed if needed.

Welcome to Clear Ears Wax Removal - Derby.

I am an NHS nurse who removes wax for patients using suction on a day-to-day basis. My skills and experience are therefore current and up to date. I have now decided to offer my skills in the private sector.

As many GP practices are now unable to offer wax removal services due to capacity issues (or only provide the option of irrigation), I am providing an affordable wax removal services by running regular ear wax removal clinics.

Each appointment will offer an ear assessment and wax removal using suction, if needed. Whilst ear wax is natural and provides protection to the ear canal, a blockage of wax can cause hearing problems, earache, tinnitus and itchiness. Follow up ear care advice will be given following wax removal.

Appointments will be charged at £55. If no wax is present, there will be a fee of £20 for the ear assessment performed and advice given. Please get in touch to book and appointment or to find out more about our services.
