A brilliant couple of days in Birmingham at the BAMAN Annual Conference.

Two days packed with interesting and thought-provoking talks, live demonstrations and plenty of opportunities to learn about the latest developments within medical aesthetics.

Of course, one of the best parts of these events is catching up with fellow aesthetics colleagues, industry reps and familiar faces, as well as meeting some new ones. 🥰

Last night was the Gala Dinner and was nice to swap the scrubs for something a little more glamorous! 🥂

I’m a big believer that learning never stops in aesthetics and nursing. Continuing to attend conferences, training and educational events is such an important part of keeping my knowledge and skills up to date and bringing the very best back to my patients.

Another great BAMAN conference

Last week I had the opportunity to visit in Brighton, where my skincare range is developed and manufactured and to see the whole process from start to finish.

From research & development, understanding how formulations are created and refined, through to production, filling and labelling, we got to see (and take part in!) every stage.

One of the things I loved most was seeing just how much knowledge, science and passion goes into every product. As a Nurse Prescriber, knowing what goes into the products I recommend to my patients and the people and processes behind them is incredibly important to me.

We also got a little sneak peek at what’s coming next year 👀 and there are some VERY exciting things ahead for RYA Skincare.

Even better, I got to share the experience with some brilliant fellow aesthetics colleagues . A few days full of learning, skincare science and lots of ideas! 🧴✨. Also the fabulous catching the action and thank you for organising

What a summer it’s been ☀️

August has been the perfect mix of travelling, exploring new cities, beach and pool days, food and drinks 🍹and making some lovely memories with family and friends

And in between the trips and sunshine, I’ve still had busy clinic days doing what I love, catching up with my lovely patients, creating natural results and helping you feel your best.

One of the things I love about running my own clinic is having the freedom to create a balance between a business I’m incredibly passionate about and making time for life outside of work too.

A fab summer, lots of memories made and plenty to feel grateful for. 🥰

Now it’s back to a little more routine as we head into September and I’m excited for a busy few months ahead.
