100g of 22” nanos doing exactly what we wanted them to do 🤌🏻🤍
We matched them to her natural colour & thickness so they didn’t look too heavy or like she suddenly had loads of hair 😂
Just longer, fuller hair that still looks like hers ✨
Sometimes you really don’t need loads of hair to make a difference 😍
She came in asking for grey blending… but that wasn’t actually what she needed 👀🤍
She had very little grey through the back of her hair, with most of it sitting through the top, so a traditional grey blending approach wasn’t going to give her the result she was actually asking for.
What she really wanted was something softer, more natural and lower maintenance that wasn’t going to leave her with a massive regrowth line a few weeks later 🙌🏻
So there wasn’t one set technique for this one 😂 I used a bit of a mishmash of techniques throughout the hair, working with what she naturally had and creating softness where she needed it.
The goal was never to make her as blonde as possible…
It was to give her a colour that suited her hair, looked beautiful now AND would grow out beautifully 🤌🏻✨
And I think we nailed the brief 😍

Your hair probably IS growing.
You just might not be keeping the length. 👀
If you’re straightening, curling or putting high heat on your hair every single day, eventually that repeated heat can weaken the hair, dry out the ends and cause breakage.
So while new hair is happily growing from your scalp… you’re potentially snapping it off at the other end. 🥲
And that’s when I hear:
“My hair just doesn’t grow.”
It does babe 😂 we just need to actually let it.
I’m not saying throw your straighteners in the bin — I love mine too 😂 — but try:
🤍 Cutting down how often you use direct heat
🤍 ALWAYS using heat protection
🤍 Turning the temperature down — hotter doesn’t mean better
🤍 Avoiding repeatedly going over the same sections
🤍 Giving your hair heat-free days
🤍 Keeping on top of trims before those ends start splitting further
If growing your hair is the goal, length retention matters just as much as growth. 🤌🏻
Save this for the next time you’re about to straighten yesterday’s straightened hair for the third time 😂🫶🏻

Why do I love tapes so much? 👀🤍
Because when they’re fitted properly, they shouldn’t take over your life… or look like you’re wearing extensions 😂
They can add length, fill out finer hair, add colour without putting more bleach through your natural hair and YES, you can still wear your hair up 🙌🏻
But the bit I’ll probably bore you all to death talking about forever… placement matters.
I don’t have one standard fitting that I use on every head. The amount of hair, colours, placement and even the size of the tapes I use are all tailored to the person sitting in my chair 🤌🏻
Because the goal has never been to give everyone the most hair possible.
It’s to give you the right amount of hair, fitted in the right places, so the finished result looks like it could genuinely be yours. 🤍

A little change can make the biggest difference 🤎✨
My client wanted to stay brunette, just with a little more depth and brightness around her face.
We added a darker root for a softer grow out and a face frame to give her hair a little more dimension 🤌🏽
Nothing too dramatic… just soft, seamless hair that will grow out beautifully 🤍
I love transformations like this because they prove you don’t always need a huge change to fall back in love with your hair 🫶🏻

This is one of the biggest concerns I hear before clients book in.

When they’re fitted correctly.

“Aren’t tape extensions really damaging?”
Honestly… it’s probably the biggest concern I hear during consultations.
The truth is…
✨ Tape extensions themselves aren’t what damage your hair.
The problems usually come from:
❌ Poor application.
❌ Leaving them in for too long.
❌ Incorrect aftercare.
❌ Trying to remove them yourself.
When they’re fitted correctly, maintained every 6-8 weeks, and looked after at home, tape extensions can be one of the most comfortable and natural-looking methods available.
