Face Behind The Business

Hi my names Lauren,

At 16 I left school and went to college to carry out a full time art course, during that time my dad offered me a job at a tattoo and piercing studio after college going in and drawing up any tattoo designs that had come in during the day while I was at college and also do any cleaning that needed doing. So while all my friends where off out socialising etc I would leave college and go straight to work.

I passed my college course and instead of continuing with my original plans I started working at the tattoo studio full time and started learning all the skills that come with working there, like tattooing and piercing also laser removal and working reception.

But I didn’t want to stop there so after having my daughter and a few years down the line🙈😁 … in 2019 I start courses to expand on my skills and became qualified in lashes, nails, hair extensions and spray tanning.

I always knew I wanted to branch out on my own and make something for myself and my daughter (who sadly lost her dad this year of 2024) so everything I do is for her and to benefit her. She doesn’t know it yet but she saved me in life from some very dark demons that to this day I deal with but on a very better level (we all have them) but I just want to better our lives and show her that you can do what ever you wants in life all you have to do is work at it the only person holding you back is you.

So now 2024 I’m going at it alone and yes I am having to start from the bottom again working from home in my living room but my aim is to have a good size annexe built for my business and eventually offer EVERYTHING I’m qualified and trained in 🖤
