Sooo happy to say that this weekend, I will be attending the annual UKAPP conference in Nottingham.

I have loved all things piercing since I was about 13/14 years old, so to now be in the industry and surrounded by so many amazing and talented individuals makes me happy plus we get to continue our education further, and be the best piercers possible for all our clients that come through our doors.

🚫Not suitable for a standard navel?

This Doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t have the piercing.
A floating navel is a great way for people with an anatomy that doesn’t support a traditional navel bar.
The curved labret means less bulkiness in the navel capacity and supports the tissue and skin much better.
Here’s a navel that had been previously pierced, didn’t heal but then was taken out due to pregnancy.
I Was so happy to give this girl her piercing once i had thoroughly explained her anatomy to her.
We will downsize in a few weeks time to a shorter more fancier bar. ✨

I wanted to share the results of this removal just 8 days later.
Client came in with this skin tag roughly the size of a couple of peas.
Local anaesthetic applied and around a 35 minute appointment later and the tag was gone.
I use the same method as doctors used to before they stopped doing it on the NHS.
Electro cautery uses micro currents to burn off the excess tissue. We then cauterise the skin closed so that it is no longer bleeding (some don’t bleed) which minimises infection and speeds up healing.
Prices start at £40.

The summer holidays are slowly drawing in and yet again i want to remind people that no piercing heals in 6 weeks!
Children’s ear piercings are very popular at this time of the year and i have updated my children’s ear piercings 101 post to align with my new age range and the change in circumstances with the studio.
I know the dreaded usual place with a gun is no longer operational but there are several other shops that offer hand pressure, gun like devices and these really aren’t hygienic at all.

One thing to know about me. I appreciate a good interior design and I’m a magpie and love piercings and jewellery.
So when Nikki asked for me to help her with some sparkles, nothing too crazy just some nice hoops that aren’t too thick and chunky but also enough to see that there’s something there. I was alllll over it.
Armed with my trusty and some sterile gloves I bought the already sterile jewellery for a personal visit to her interior design studio and et voila.
This isn’t a service I offer to anyone but I am currently looking to do an evening in winter so you can all come and meet me see some of the jewellery that’s on offer and the treatments I offer.
