10 MILE TT on the Burt Course. 🚴♀️🚴🏻
Wednesday 10th May - Sign on 6:30pm, first rider off at 7:00pm.
Sign on and race start is just passed the second Callaghans garage on the letterkenny road when coming from Derry. (5 mile from Bridgend roundabout) and goes in to bridgend roundabout and back.
£2 entry fee
Must have a club membership or Triathlon Ireland training or racing licence.
Everybody welcome! you don't need a TT bike or fancy gear to race, a 10 mile TT is a great event to test yourself and great training for any upcoming triathlons. 😀
We also need some marshalls so if you are willing to help out with timing/sign on/traffic control please let us know.

The day the potholes hit back!
After months of fighting to get potholes fixed for all road users' benefit,I fell foul of one myself.
Reminder that if your vehicle has suffered damage as a result of road issues, you can claim compensation from DfI via the link below.
This process is an important one (& not just to ensure people are compensated) but to highlight problems throughout the road network and draw attention to the clear failings of the Department's current approach to filling and repairing potholes.
I've written to the Permanent Secretary urging a review of this policy.
