🌟 International Women’s Day 🌟

I counted as I queued.

Twelve men in front of me.
More men behind me.
And me.

Boarding a flight to London.

Heading into rooms where funding is decided, strategies are shaped, and futures are influenced.

That’s not a complaint. It’s a reminder.

A reminder that women are still building our way into spaces that weren’t originally designed with us in mind.

I’m a mum of four sons, a wife, and I run three organisations, Finnesse, Mickey Finns, and WonderLeap.

My life is airport gates and school gates.
Pitch decks and packed lunches.
Strategy calls and mum commitments.

There are moments of doubt.
Moments of exhaustion.
Moments where it would be easier to step back.

But I don’t.

Because leadership isn’t about comfort, it’s about presence.

Every time I board that plane, I’m not just travelling for business. I’m modelling possibility.

For my sons.
For other women.
For the next generation who need to see that ambition and care can exist in the same woman.

International Women’s Day isn’t about applause, it’s about access, visibility, and consistency.

We don’t have to choose between being powerful and being present.

We belong in these rooms.
We belong in these conversations.
And we are not guests, we are builders.

And we’re only just getting started. 👌🌟
