Big reason to celebrate this special occasion for a long journey being our BIG 20th YEAR in business cutting hair for our customers... This day 11th April 2006 I opened the door to establish Petes Barbers.

Back in the day when Sheps barbers was the only other barbers in our neighbourhood. Old school ways and respect from before us 😎💯✊️
Ps. I was almost his first barber when I used to cut his son's hair being one of my good friends from the streets in the 80s/90s. But I was wayyyy too young to become employed being only 15yrs old without a certificate lol.

What can I say after 20 years 👀
Been interesting coming across many many different people's lives and getting to know everyone and playing a huge role in our huge community 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Reflecting back on the early years building it up from scratch was a huge leap in our development to establish what it is with my good barber staff played a role along with me over them years between 2006 -2010 in the smaller unit nextdoor to the Rice Bowl and Collon Taxis then moved over to the next unit beside Josie's Flower Shop in late 2010 was a great step forwards.

My biggest memories of the past was many clients who were dear friends of mine and yet being eldery clients who had passed away over the years. 💙

Ive also had many other clients who were much much younger who lost their lives sadly through tragedies who i often think about them and their parents. . 😢 These young dudes are never forgotten as my besties.
