Hello Wild Humans. It's been a while since we've posted here. We're sorry about that. We have some really important news to share with you.

After 4 beautiful years, the time has come for us to say goodbye (for now) to Wild Human Skincare.
This past year has been full of big changes for our family — losing Jon’s mum, supporting our children through their education, friendships and life in general, and realising that the time, energy, and love we pour into Wild Human isn’t sustainable for us right now.

So, we’ve made the incredibly hard decision to close Wild Human Skincare at the end of May/early June, to give more of ourselves to our family, our home, and an exciting new chapter — our arts-based community venture, Wildly Creative CIC.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for every order, every kind word, and every bit of belief you shared with us. You’ve been a true part of our journey and we are so grateful.

It's been a little while since we posted. To be honest, it's been hard to know what to post after the last few months of my mother in law's poor health and passing away. How does one just start posting like normal again? 😔

Today I'm trading with in Cowbridge today, first market in a while. So, I thought I'd share some quick photos. This is just a snapshot, there are about 20 fabulous independent local businesses trading today 💚

So, if you're in or near Cowbridge today, pop in to The Bear Hotel (St Quentin's Suite) on High Street for the Collective Curated Market, 10am - 4pm. Come and say hi if you visit. As always, never any pressure to buy but you'll be greeted with love and a smile.

Jon's mum, Margaret, died on Saturday morning. She had been unwell for several months, and in and out if hospital. (It's partly the reason we've been so quiet on social media).

We forgot to turn website orders off last week when Margaret's health rapidly declined and eventually passed away. We've a few orders to fulfil before closing the website for a short time to allow us to focus on the funeral next Thursday and be with each other. If anyone would like the funeral information, please message.

With summer almost here (we hope!), we thought we'd share some of our best skincare tips! 💚

Some of the best tips involve what we put in to our bodies, not just what we put on them. So make sure you drink enough water, ditch the sugary junk food and embrace a diet full of natural colour and lean protein.

Remember the skin on your face is more delicate than other parts of the body and scrubbing it is a huge no-no. Being over-enthusiastic can cause damage to your skin so treat yourself gently...
..Treat yourself gently too for that matter. There is so much heartbreaking and gut-wrenching atrocities happening in the world and it can be utterly overwhelming seeing it all and feeling helpless. We really don't have the words... 💔

Roath Farmers Market is held every Saturday in the car park of Mackintosh Sports and Social Club from 9.30am - 1pm. It's a fabulous, eclectic market where you'll find people and food from different cultures, fresh fruit, veg, meat and dairy, street food, pickles , jams and bakeries. There are usually 2-3 stalls of traders like us there - local independent businesses with products that compliment the market.
