I cannot quite believe that I’ve been lucky enough to secure a finalist place in the Hair Awards!
I’m so grateful and lucky. Just to be a finalist at my age is truly something to be proud of, you all know how hard I work in my job and I genuinely love what I do every single day. WHY HEAT PROTECTION IS SO IMPORTANT 🫶🏼
You spend so much money having your hair done. You love it, then you go home and maintain it yourself and it’s dull, dry, the colour fades so fast. Why?
Hair care 101 is heat protection. There are many other factors of haircare you need to consider like colour protect shampoos and conditioners, paraben and sulphate free products etc, but the use of constant hot styling tools from your hairdryer to straighteners, curlers hot brushes etc damages your hair not only on the outside but inside as well.
The heat drastically breaks down moisture, causes breakage, damages your hair cuticle, strips your fresh hair colour and/or toners, it can even strip your virgin hair because direct heat is that powerful.
