For older people, taking proper care of their feet can often become quite challenging. Reduced mobility may make it difficult for them to bend down far enough to reach their feet, making nail and skin care increasingly difficult.

It is important to look after our elderly loved ones and support them with the things they can no longer safely or independently manage themselves. Regular, professional foot care can not only improve their comfort but also play an important role in maintaining the health of their feet. 🦶❤️

Correct nail trimming is extremely important because, as you can see in the picture, a piece of nail left in the nail groove can easily cause inflammation. Unfortunately, in my client’s case, the inflammation became severe enough to require antibiotic treatment.

Seeking professional help at an early stage can often prevent inflammation and infection, which can sometimes develop within just 1–2 days, and may help avoid the need for antibiotic treatment.
