As you all know this week was my last week of my business being open, and today was my final day. Before I started full time at Volvo on Monday.

I would just like to write a little message and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the cards, gifts and tips I have received. You really didn’t have to. I truly am grateful for all the beautiful and kind people I have met along the way, and just you booking in each week, month and as a one off treatment was always appreciated and I will remember every single one of you and the kindness, loyalty and support you have shown me over the years.

Thank you again for taking the time to meet me and support my small business. It’s been an absolute pleasure.

Owing a business has been an absolute privilege and I am so grateful I had to opportunity to do so. For anyone out there that currently has their own business. You have my respect, because it is such a challenging job to do. And is definitely very difficult to run in such a time of uncertainty at the moment. One thing I have learned is please help support any small businesses out there because your support meant the absolute world to me, and I know it will be appreciated by them even if it’s just a follow, share or review of a business page it really does mean a lot.

Once again thank you all so much it’s been an absolute pleasure and who knows I possibly might do this again some at some point.

Dear clients,
I hope you’re all doing well.

I have some difficult news to share as we approach the end of April, and It's with a heavy heart that I share.
After much consideration, I have decided to close down HR Beauty (Harriet’s room of beauty). On the 31st of May, in 8 weeks time. This will not effect any appointments that at currently booked in for May 2024. But at my new employment, have asked me to start part time on a Tuesday and Thursday to get my training done. Then I will start full time on the 1st of June 2024.
This journey has been one of immense learning and growth. It’s been an incredible ride, with moments of joy, excitement, seemingly insurmountable odds, and invaluable learning.
But despite my best efforts, there was no other way forward. I was due to finish in the 29th of July 2024, but my new employer has requested for me to start on the 1 of June 2024. So I am so sorry for the massive jump and for me to spring it on to everyone so soon.

GIFT VOUCHERS:
I stopped selling gift vouchers on the 29th of December 2023, and the last gift voucher purchased was on the 25th of December 2023. I haven’t sold anymore since then, the gift vouchers bought in December are due to expire in June 2024.
But for anyone that has gift vouchers that still need using I am still going to be open on a Saturday 10am till 1pm up until the 29th of June 2024 for gift vouchers. Please try and get these booked in as soon as possible, because this when my rent is due to expire on my room, and I won’t have a room to conduct treatments after that date

❤️The path of entrepreneurship is often unpredictable, and while I have had many wins, I have also faced tough challenges that led us to where we are now. I haven’t shared with many people but coming to the end of 2023 and up to now.

❤️You all deserve an explanation as to why I am closing.
As many of you are aware and possibly going through the same struggle. I have had and I am sure many of you this year have had to face soaring utility bills, higher rates of inflation, rising interest rates, and a cost-of-living crisis that’s seen the public tighten their purse strings, including myself. As wrong as it is, these are issues that are out of all our control.

❤️Many people are struggling to pay for the bare necessities. Although I always felt ashamed to tell you all. I realise many other people are going through the same challenges, a lot of people don’t have the disposable income we used to have to spend time on themselves anymore, and many businesses have started to become a lot more quiet with less frequent income coming in at the end of each month. As a business I have being going through the struggle and closing the business was my last plan of action. But I hope you can all understand my reasons.

❤️I want to take this moment to thank every regular client that came in every week, month or just as a one off treat to themselves.
Who have been part of my story. Your support and engagement have meant the world to me.
To my customers and supporters: Thank you. Your belief and trust in me have been the driving force behind my every step.
My contract to start my now job has jumped forward unexpectedly I understand this has all happened so quickly. But am committed to ensuring a smooth atransition for any ongoing needs.
I would also like to thank family, my partner and friends and how have all supported me through the struggle.

Yet, in every setback, there's something to learn. Failure is often the toughest teacher, but each lesson brings us closer to success.
