The University of Sheffield in 2007, and gained a 2:1 in her degree. Lyndsey has always had an interest in medical aesthetics, and in 2008, after thoroughly researching all of the training schools in the country, trained at the prestigious KT Training in Harley Street, London in 2008 to 2009 to train in the field of medical aesthetics. Lyndsey then in 2010 privately trained to be an independent nurse prescriber at DeMontford University in Leicester, which had a main focus on medical aesthetics to tailor her skills of prescribing in her chosen field. Lyndsey trained to be an advanced aesthetic practitioner, enabling her to offer her clients an advanced aesthetic package which offers advice and treatments in every aspect of medical aesthetics. All of these opportunities have led Lyndsey to be an experienced injector who gets fabulous results. Lyndsey continues to attend many training events and seek out new products and innovations in her field to ensure all of her clients receive safe effective results with top quality products with the techniques and skills to ensure her clients leave her clinics looking fabulous..and more importantly, happy. Lyndsey has never really had to advertise her services, she has grown her practice through recommendations and word of mouth, and is known throughout Doncaster as "coming highly recommended". Following updated guidance from the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP), we are no longer able to offer PRP treatments for the scalp at Elixir Skin Clinic.

The new guidance states that PRP for hair restoration is now considered a regulated medical treatment requiring CQC-registered premises. As we are not CQC regulated, this means we can no longer legally and ethically provide this treatment.

While we know this may be disappointing for some patients, maintaining safe, compliant and ethical practice will always be our priority.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued trust and support, and we will continue to offer a range of other evidence-based treatments and skincare solutions within our scope of practice 🤍

Today is all about celebrating nurses everywhere and the care, compassion, and hard work they bring every single day.

At Elixir, being a nurse-led clinic is something we’re really proud of. Nursing has shaped the way we care for our patients and will always be at the centre of everything we do.

Nurse Lyndsey began her career as a theatre nurse and has since gone on to become an Independent Nurse Prescriber, bringing years of clinical experience and patient care into aesthetics.

Nurse Ayesha is currently dual working within the NHS as a community nurse alongside her role at Elixir, continuing to grow her skills and knowledge, with the goal of eventually becoming an Independent Nurse Prescriber too.

Although our roles have evolved, the values we learned through nursing, kindness, safety, empathy, and patient-focused care, remain the same.
