My client booked in for hairstrokes… and walked out with powder brows 😆 Let me explain why! 😍

After chatting with Hannah, I realised she actually loves a more tinted, defined look. She fills her brows in daily and already has lots of natural brow hair, she just wanted them to look more put together 24/7!

So I pre-drew a few options: hairstrokes, combination and powder… and we BOTH preferred the powder 😍

Once healed, they’ll soften and fade to give that gorgeous tinted look Hannah loves 🥰

A VERY rare cover-up from me! 👀🤎

I’m very rarely able to work over somebody else’s previous PMU, especially old powder brows when we want to introduce hairstrokes. But this was one of those rare exceptions ✨

My client’s powder brows were around 4 years old and had faded significantly. There was no obvious oversaturation, her skin was in great condition and the existing shape measured up really well, so I knew I had something I could work with.

She really wanted more texture through the fronts, so we opted for machine hairstrokes + soft shading, using a warmer pigment to help disguise the cool, ashy colour left behind.

We were both aware that the hairstrokes may not heal 100% over previous pigment, but the fresh results are just gorgeous 😍

Definitely an exception, in most cases further removal is still needed before I can safely create results like these. 🤎

How lucky am I that this is my job 🥹🩷
