We’ve been lucky enough to see where Chipp Coffee is roasted that we serve in our refill shop ✨

Roasted in small batches in Leeds, not too far from us.

I took my sister in law for the ride and to say we were over fuelled with caffeine afterwards would be an understatement😅

Zach showed us how to make the best coffees, though our latte art skills are rather dubious - a working progress let’s say.

Today’s little haul is my local green grocer in our village. I know this is luxury and not always an option for some so feel super grateful to be able to support small stores.

This year I’m getting my grow on! For those who remember (if you’ve been here a while) due to a house move I had to give up my old allotment. After only a short wait for a year I have a new one in our village!

Soup season is in full flow in our house!! I’ve even started using leftover soup to make pasta sauces, anyone else do this? 🤣

Christmas Candle Making Class ✨🎄♥️🕯️

We’ve been such busy Santa’s helpers over the weekend hosting our first ever class in our workshop/ soapery here in Epworth.

Thank you to all the lovely ladies who joined me and made their very own soy wax candles!

In the booklets we made, I spoke about the importance of avoiding paraffin wax, what it’s made from and why we choose sustainable waxes instead. For most this was new information, so for them to have left knowing it’s made from petroleum and the natural wax options available was good!!

The scent of the candle could be bespoke as I showed how we like to blend. We used a variety of dried botanicals on top to create festive style wreaths. ✨

These classes sold out so fast and were inundated with messages about when the next one will be. With that in mind we’re thinking of holding 1 class each month going forward!🕯️

We will have candles for sale next week at Epworth’s Christmas Market, hopefully see you there!🎄🕯️♥️✨
