“I just love skin boosters.” We know, Emma 😂
But which one do we actually recommend?
In our latest skin boosters discussion, Nat, Lucy and Emma talk through some of our most-used options and why there isn’t one treatment that suits every patient.
Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids and is a great option when we’re looking at improving overall skin quality, particularly in delicate areas such as the under-eyes.
Jalupro Classic also combines amino acids with hyaluronic acid and is often chosen when we want to support collagen production and improve skin texture, hydration and early signs of ageing.
Jalupro Super Hydro contains a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid alongside amino acids and peptides. We’ll often consider this when there’s more noticeable laxity and the patient would benefit from deeper hydration and support to the skin.
Three great options, but for different reasons.
The important part is assessing your skin first and choosing the treatment based on what it actually needs - rather than simply choosing the skin booster you’ve heard the most about.

PRF - using your own blood to support your skin 💙
Platelet-Rich Fibrin is created by taking a small sample of your blood and processing it to concentrate platelets, fibrin and naturally occurring growth factors. Once prepared, it can be injected directly into the areas of the skin we want to treat.
Rather than adding volume, PRF works by supporting your skin’s natural repair processes. The fibrin matrix gradually releases growth factors, helping to stimulate collagen production and improve the quality of the skin over time.
It can be particularly beneficial for improving skin texture, elasticity, fine lines and overall skin quality, with results developing gradually and naturally.
A great treatment for patients looking for a regenerative approach to skin rejuvenation using something that comes from their own body.

LaseMD is one of those treatments that can address several skin concerns in one appointment.
Using a gentle resurfacing laser, it works within the skin to improve overall texture and tone, while targeting concerns such as pigmentation, sun damage, fine lines and uneven skin.
It’s a great option if you’re looking to improve the general quality of your skin without the downtime associated with more intensive resurfacing treatments.
And with summer coming to an end, September is a great time to start giving your skin a little more attention again.
Throughout September, we’re offering £50 off LaseMD treatments at Elements Medical.
Sunekos is one of those treatments we come back to time and time again.
In this video, Natalie talks through how Sunekos works and why it can be such a good option for improving skin quality, hydration and fine lines without adding volume.
It uses a combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids to support collagen and elastin production, making it particularly useful for more delicate areas such as under the eyes, as well as the face and neck.
A great option if your main concern is skin quality rather than changing the shape of the face.

Summer is coming to an end, and it’s a good time to reassess what your skin actually needs.
Months of SPF, warmer weather, travel and changes to our usual routines can leave the skin feeling congested, dehydrated and a little out of balance.
A bespoke facial gives us the opportunity to properly assess your skin and tailor the treatment accordingly - focusing on decongestion, hydration and getting your skin back into a healthier routine.
As we move into autumn and have less sun exposure, we can also start to reintroduce treatments such as chemical peels and more intensive skin treatments that we tend to be more cautious with during the summer months.
Think of it as a good starting point for your autumn skin plan.
Some treatments are worth making time for.
NeoGen Plasma does require downtime. Depending on the intensity of your treatment, you can expect redness, swelling, dryness and peeling while the skin goes through its recovery process.
But there’s a reason our patients are happy to plan around it. NeoGen works beyond the surface of the skin, stimulating collagen and supporting continued improvements in skin quality long after the initial healing period.
A little downtime for results that continue developing for months? We think it’s a fair trade. 🤍

The summer holidays are almost over… now it’s your turn 🤍
Weeks of SPF, makeup, warmer weather and sweating can leave the skin feeling congested, dehydrated and generally in need of a little attention.
A post-summer skin treatment is a great opportunity to properly cleanse blocked pores, replenish lost hydration and get your skin back into a healthier routine as we head into autumn (sad to see the sun go😩).
And after six weeks of keeping the kids entertained, an hour to yourself probably isn’t a bad idea either.
Consider this your excuse for a little post-summer me time.
It’s no secret we love Jalupro 💙
It’s a skin booster that does more than hydrate. Its combination of amino acids and peptides also supports collagen production, helping to improve overall skin quality over time.
Our Summer 7 offers aren’t around for much longer, so make the most of them while they last.

Microneedling has been around for decades, and there’s a reason it’s still one of our most requested treatments.
For us, it’s a personal favourite because it keeps things simple - using controlled micro-trauma to encourage the skin’s own repair process and collagen production. It can help with texture, fine lines, enlarged pores and acne scarring, without trying to completely change the way your skin looks.
Trends come and go, but treatments that consistently deliver tend to stick around. Microneedling is definitely one of them - and our patients seem to agree. 🤍
