I’m going to be polite as I can with this post 😉

A few things this summer that have made me want to quit -

Expecting mates rates, I love you all dearly Iv grown fond of you but me liking you does not pay my bills.

Cancelling your app because you have no money or have more exciting plans then expecting me to squeeze you in when your life got a less chaotic . Nope. This is my job this is my wage sending me messages saying things like “it’s ok il go somewhere else” will not make me drop to your feet and beg for you to stay as a client. Massive red flag 🚩 it’s self entitlement. I am not sacrificing my evenings because your mood and plans changed.

Telling me throughout the app that you have dry mouth 🤦🏻‍♀️I’m a nail tech not a waitress, leaving the cabin to make you a drink takes time and goes into another clients app time. On top of that I don’t work in a busy salon with a free staff member to make you a drink. You’re welcome to bring a drink with you I don’t mind.

Telling me your previous nail tech didn’t charge that amount 🙄well that’s cute but there is a reason you left that nail tech (none of my business why) but if you want to go back and pay that said price 🚪👈🏻there’s the door.

When you booked your appointment you knew in advance the price if you do not have the money to pay for it then don’t book. asking if you can pay a week later is really annoying. I cannot ring up my electric company and ask for a weeks grace because my client is skint I still have to pay those bills.

sending me 11 voice messages after 10 PM
explaining why you can't make tomorrow's appointment.
You can simply cancel. I don't get paid to listen to a podcast about it outside my working hours.

You never need to feel bad for coming to your appointments "in your scruffs".
Quite honestly, you'll usually find me in mine, covered head to toe in dust, blowing my hair out of my face.
It's a garden cabin not Vogue. Come in your pyjamas for all I care - I want you to be comfortable. So please never apologise for the way you look, I defiantly will not notice because I have adhd and my brain only allows me to focus on one task and that is your nails.
I don’t remember how I have done my hair most days unless I catch a glimpse in the mirror so I promise you there is zero eyes and judgement on how you turn up to your app.

Can I ask all clients this week to make sure they have a design/colour ready for your app. pls relax your hands as much as possible. My hands & wrists are still painful & the above helps.

I’m just going to be throwing nail pics on as and when I can. 🤣I have so many stacked up and my hands are hurting a lot and swollen still so I’m icing them when I finish so bare with the minimal posting. I know some of my clients like to look for inspo so just ask me at your app and I can show you 🥰
