Wella has recently increased its professional colour prices, and I want to be completely transparent about how this may affect colour services at LeeLou HQ.
Before I go any further, I also want to share that my preference would be to continue using Wella. Over the years, I’ve built a lot of trust in their colour performance, consistency, and the condition it leaves the hair in. The results are reliable, the tones are predictable, and it allows me to deliver the high standard of colour work that I’m known for. Switching brands is never a decision I take lightly, as it can impact formulation, results, and the overall client experience.
Quality will always be important to me, but so is keeping my services fair and accessible. Before I make a decision, I would genuinely value your opinion:

We had the pleasure of welcoming the Mayor of Doncaster, Ros Jones, through our connection with Launchpad and my business mentor, Gary Brocklesby.
It was a proud moment to share everything we have accomplished at LeeLou HQ and introduce the exciting work growing within The Coffee Vine CIC.
The Mayor also met Scott, our Coffee Vine CCG Coordinator, who manages our community hub and helps local people access financial guidance, digital inclusion, employment signposting and support with housing-related queries.
Our talented resident artist, Alice, delivered a beautiful Blind Art session, with volunteers and customers joining us to take part and show their support.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the visit so special. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate how far we have come and share our vision for a welcoming community hub where everyone can feel supported and connected.

✂️ Why I can’t “just squeeze you in”…
As a hairdresser, every appointment needs the right amount of time. Consultations, mixing colour, applying it carefully, processing, washing, cutting, styling and cleaning between clients all take time.
When I squeeze someone in, I’m not creating extra hours. I’m taking time and attention away from another client, skipping a toilet break or making everyone else run late.
I want every person in my chair to feel relaxed, valued and never rushed. So when I say I’m fully booked, I’m not being difficult I’m protecting the quality of my work, my wellbeing and the experience you’re paying for.
Please book ahead whenever possible. Your hair deserves proper time, not a rushed gap. 💗
