✨ I’M BACK! ✨

After a much-needed break to recover from my operation, I’m so happy to say I’ll be returning to work the week commencing 21st September! 💅🏼✨
I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love and seeing all my lovely clients again. ❤️

8 days post-op…and what a journey it’s been. ❤️

Back in 2014, I had a gastric band fitted. What was meant to help me became something I would suffer with for years, leaving me living with pain and discomfort that eventually became part of everyday life.

On the 28th August, after all these years, I finally had my gastric band removed. It had to be carefully unstitched from my stomach and stomach wall, while my abdomen was inflated with gas so the surgeons could see inside me and safely remove it.

I’m not going to lie… the last 8 days have been brutal. The pain, swelling and discomfort have been far harder than I expected. 😢 even added a chest infection for good measure 🙃

I’m still on a soft food diet while everything heals. Eating is still uncomfortable, and honestly, at the moment the pain when I eat just isn’t worth satisfying the hunger. So I’m taking it slowly and listening to my body. ❤️

The swelling has finally started going down, although I’m still very much in discomfort and have a way to go with recovery.

After living with this pain for so many years, I’m just so grateful that the band is finally out. ❤️
Here’s to healing, recovery and hopefully a future without the pain I’ve lived with for far too long. 🥹❤️

I have learned a lesson in all this and it's if God wanted you to have it in your body you would of been born with it!...as my gran said 🤣

LESSON LEARNT

I just want to take a moment to say a massive thank you to all my amazing clients for your patience, understanding and support over the last few years. ❤️

Some of you will know just how much pain I’ve been dealing with, and how often that has meant having to rearrange appointments, change plans and take time out when my body simply wouldn’t allow me to carry on.

I know it hasn’t always been easy, and I honestly can’t thank you enough for being so understanding and sticking by me. 🥹

After a very long wait, operation time is finally here tomorrow! 🤞🏼

I’m hoping this is the start of a new chapter, with less pain and hopefully a little more of the old me back.

Thank you for continuing to support my little business through it all. Every appointment, message, kind word and bit of patience has meant more than you probably realise. ❤️
