Important client notice from Toni. As most of you know I’m currently 8 months pregnant. I’ve been having some pregnancy related health problems (anaemia & hypotension) for some time now. As I’m getting further along in my pregnancy these symptoms are getting worse. I have good days and bad days on the bad days I really struggle with severe dizziness, feeling faint and just generally feeling drained and struggling to stand. As you can imagine being a hair stylist is the worst possible job.
I have been advised by the hospital that I need to slow down and avoid standing for long periods. I am going to try and carry on working the best I can but I just wanted to make my clients aware that I may have to cancel your appointments if I’m not well on the day. I will also not be offering blowdries on long/thick hair over the next few weeks. So your colour and cuts will be done as normal but I will be politely asking people to go without the blow dry and dry your hair at home to allow me to have a 10 minute sit down between customers. Rather than working back to back with no breaks and making myself more ill. I understand this isn’t ideal but it’s the best I can offer other than completely cancelling appointments all together.
I can only apologise to anyone whose appointment I’ve had to cancel already due to being sent to hospital or to anyone’s I have to cancel going forward. Please know that I am doing my absolute best to carry on but I have to put mine and my babies health first. I hope you all understand.
