Let’s face it, life’s too short to have boring hair!!!

The copper-to-blonde journey is officially complete! 👱‍♀️✨

This wasn’t just a simple lift; it was a total reconstruction. To get this clean, bright result while keeping the hair healthy, we:

🪩Started with a color remover to clear the canvas.

🪩Packed in a full head of baby lights for max dimension.

🪩Naturalised the hair in between foils.

🪩Finished with a wet balayage to bump those ends and kick the last of the warmth.

🪩Topped it off with a root smudge and custom toner for that ‘born with it’ blend.

Patience pays off! No fancy techniques, just power in the knowledge I have. Seems I’m making the impossible possible lately… What do we think of this glow-up? 👇

Saturday was all about transparency, technique, and a massive transformation.

We started with a base of faded-out box dye, which any stylist knows is the ultimate challenge. Before a single drop of lightener touched the hair, we did a deep consultation and a strand test to see exactly how the hair would react and what it could safely handle.

After talking through every possible outcome and being prepared to walk out as a dark toned down blonde we achieved a result that blew us both away in just one session.

The Process:
• The Lift: We went in with a full head of baby lights for maximum blend and dimension.
• The Pop: I performed tip outs on the hair left between the foils to ensure those ends really brightened up.
• The Finish: To keep things low-maintenance, we applied a semi-permanent root drag for a seamless grow-out and toned everything to a gorgeous, creamy vanilla.

Is it “perfect” yet? Not quite. This is officially Round 1. We’ve successfully shifted the old pigment while prioritising the health and integrity of the hair. We reached a level today we didn’t think was possible in one sitting, and I can’t wait to see where Round 2 takes us! 🍦✨

The blend? Seamless. The smile? Unmatched. ☁️✨

When you try to be all fancy and film a transformation but instead just get clips of the back of my head 🫠 shout out to my hairdresser as my hair colour still looks banging!!

Hands up if you slayed a colour correction that involved removing red and brunette box dyes 🙆🏽‍♀️

I won’t lie, even I doubted that this was achievable in one sitting! We took the test strand and low and behold we lifted orange 🍊. Now every hairdresser will know that on the day we usually tend to get a better lift but still, I wasn’t banking on being a clean blonde. I explained this to my guest as I wanted to be as honest and transparent about expectations. Let’s just say it exceeded all of our expectations!!!

Lifted using:

🪩XP 9 level lift + 3% (back)
🪩 Andreia blonde 10 + 6% (t-section)

Colours:

🐆5/1 + 1.9% Root shadow
🐆 Zonal toned using 9.03 + 9.01 mids - 9.12 ends
