Yay!! I can finally fling my clinic doors open!

Do keep in mind that I will be limited to the amount of hours I can work due to the extra time taken to deep clean between each client. Please be patient, I will endeavour to get you booked in as soon as I can.

I have been advised that the latest government announcement is unclear as to whether I can resume work just yet 🤯

There will be news sent out in the next day or so from professional bodies with more guidance for Sports massage therapists. I will keep you all posted 👍

Unfortunately the government have still not offered specific guidance for soft tissue therapists to return to work. The General Council for Soft Tissue Therapies will be looking at further written guidelines later today.

It is incredibly disheartening that remedial soft tissue therapists are being put under the same umbrella as spas and massage parlours by the government. Like chiropractors, osteopaths and physiotherapists (who are allowed to practise) We offer pain relief and improved mobility to our clients. I’m sure most of my clients would confirm that I don’t offer “relaxation” 🤣 therefore I am hoping the government will review this situation and offer some clarity.

I’ll get back to you all when I hopefully have some more positive news!

Really missing all my clients but I’m grateful for slowing down the pace of life and for the opportunity to spend more quality time with my family.
