Dorking Solarium

With temperatures forecast to exceed 30°C this coming week, we’ll be trying something a little different.

Rather than staying open throughout the hottest part of the day, we’ll be closing for a few hours each afternoon before reopening later in the day. This gives the salon and our sunbeds time to cool down, helping us provide a more comfortable environment for our customers, as well as for me and Holly.

We’ll be open 9:00am–1:00pm every day before reopening later as follows:

☀️ Monday: 9:00am–1:00pm | 3:30pm–6:00pm
☀️ Tuesday: 9:00am–1:00pm | 4:00pm–7:30pm
☀️ Wednesday: 9:00am–1:00pm | 4:00pm–7:30pm
☀️ Thursday: 9:00am–1:00pm | 4:00pm–7:30pm
☀️ Friday: 9:00am–1:00pm | 3:30pm–6:00pm

This is something we’ve never done before, but with these extreme temperatures becoming more common, we feel it’s the best way to adapt while continuing to provide a comfortable experience for everyone.

Our lay down beds have been re-tubed 🔥

We advise you to reduce your minutes as they are running stronger than before.

What do “new tubes” actually mean for you?

When we say our lay down beds have new tubes, it means the lamps inside the beds have been replaced to ensure they are performing at their very best.

For you, that means:

• Stronger, more effective sessions
You’ll notice improved tanning performance and a quicker glow.

• Faster colour development
Achieve your desired tan in fewer sessions.

Our previous tubes still had life left in them… we just believe in maintaining the highest standards for our clients.

Due to the upcoming heatwave, we have made some temporary changes to our opening hours over the next few days.

We have taken this decision to help ensure the safety and comfort of both our clients and staff. As many of you are aware, all of our beds have recently been re-tubed and are therefore running hotter than usual.

If possible, we recommend popping in earlier in the day.

Top tip: Please avoid using a sunbed and spending prolonged periods in direct sunlight on the same day, as this may lead to overexposure.

We take age restrictions seriously and operate strictly in line with UK regulations. If you look under 21, you may be asked for valid photo ID.
