Started this beauty on her lived in blonde journey 🥰 we've been doing blonde highlights with a lowlight for quite some time now but fancied a change so I done a reverse balayge followed by a root smudge and toner at the backwash, in around 8 weeks I'll be doing a second session to ensure the colour is really anchored in and then we will be able to reduce her appointments to 10 to 12 weeks 🥰 before and after photos below ❤️

Hello my lovelies, sorry for the radio silence I've been off enjoying the Easter holidays with my boys and having lots of family time 🥰 but I'm back to work as normal on Monday and look forward to seeing you all 😊

I had my lovely aunty in today 🥰 she loves having rainbow colours but not too bright and hates getting a badger stripe grow out 😂 last time we done very soft pastels which was beautiful but you don't get the longevity out of them 😭 so today we decided to go a bit brighter but I sectioned out the hairline and a very slim horse shoe section around the parting and didn't put any bright colours on those sections, I applied a silver on those areas to enhance her natural colour and stop any badger stripes 😂 I then applied pink, purple, blue & peach in alternative horizontal sections throughout the rest of her hair and finished off with a good cut & blowdry and styled with my cloud nine waving wand 😍 as usual I forgot to take a before photos but here are the after photos (outside & inside) and also a photo of my aunty's current fingernails as they were our inspo 😂

Grey blending and a restyle for this lovely lady 😍 as happens to most of us, our hair goes white around the front first whilst the back stays dark 🙄 so every few months I do a set of highlights and apply toners to acheive this beautiful silver, the highlights aren't needed at every session just the toners are refreshed to bring the colour back to life and give this beautiful seamless blend 😍 for this appointment we done the toners but we also done a restyle 🥰 those pain in the bum hormones had taken their toll on her lovely curls so she decided to have a big chop which bought her hair back to life and gave her a gorgeous beachy wave we also added in a fringe 😍 I dried her hair using a curl cream and diffuser making this a lovely low maintenance but stunning style ❤️

Had lots of fun doing this colour change for a new lady ❤️ I done a big restyle for her a few weeks ago and during that appointment she asked me about changing her colour from bright red and taking her back to brunette 😍 so after a bit of chat we worked out what our end goal would be. Like most colour changes/colour corrections I explained it would be a journey to get to her end goal of an ashy tone but the colour came up beautifully for a first application ❤️ it'll take a few more applications to get the colour just right but we are certainly on the right track and we're definitely brunette now!

Here's one I done last week and forgot to post 🙈 this lovely has been having a lived in blonde for a couple of years now, last time we did change her tone but last week she wanted to start the journey to full blonde 😍 it will obviously take a few sittings to get it perfect as there was quite a lot of natural hair from being a lived in blonde but we kicked the journey off with a full head of traditional highlights, I toned the fresh blonde to match the old blonde to start getting an even canvas, a few more sittings and we will be there but keeping her hair integrity in tip top condition is the main priority ❤️ all finished off with a maintenance trim and blowdry 😍

Today I had my lovely friend in for a bit of hair TLC whilst all the kids played and ran riot 😂 so not the most relaxing of hair appointments for her but a very exciting one as we changed things up a bit. Her hair grows so quickly, she loves being blonde but hates the regrowth so today we decided to tone it all down a bit and make her hair more manageable 😍 I went through scattering angled baby lowlights throughout her hair except for creating money peice and some hairline blonde foils so she still feels bright around her face. I then applied a root drag and toner at the backwash using a warmer shade to tone her blonde 😍 I then finished off with a blowdry and waved with my cloud9 waving wand 🥰 her words when I gave the reveal "OMG Kim I love it, you've smashed it and it's exactly as I imagined" ❤️ I will never tire of your fabulous reactions when your hair is revealed after a change 🥰

You may have seen my posts and been following this lovelies colour journey, we've been working towards a balayage look since last spring however, a lot of correction work was required first so it's been a slow progress! Finally this week we were at a point with her natural root being bigger and colour that I'd done previously to blend with her natural colour holding that I was able to start using a foliage and tip out technique to acheive more of a balayage look, it's still not quite perfect some of the previous hairdressers work is still a bit visible but it's very nearly there ❤️ it's definitely looking like a balayage now 🥰

Last week I welcomed some new lovely ladies onto my books which was wonderful getting to know you all, however I kick started my week this week with a fabulous long standing lady ❤️ the past few appointments we've been gradually working towards a warmer multitonal blonde after years of being a brighter blonde. We've taken it slowly so we can get the look just right and not become too dark, the colours are holding beautifully in her hair and this time we're very nearly at our goal, one or two more sittings and we will have it just perfect ❤️ I love that you all put your trust in me to get your hair where you'd like it to be and accept that most of the time it will be a journey to the finish line 🥰 I created this look using 4 different bespoke mixed colours in a traditional half head highlights, all finished off with a maintenance trim and blowdry ✂️
