The boys were fantastic, listening to the manager’s advice and putting into practice everything we’ve been working on in training.

After a strong preseason, testing players and building our starting XI, the squad is growing stronger every game. We have quality in every position, great players on the bench, and most importantly, a tight group with a real family spirit.

Everyone gave everything today, and the teamwork, attitude and togetherness were outstanding. ❤️

What a game from the boys today!

We went into half-time 3–1 down, but the boys came back in the second half with power, character and quality football. 💪⚽

The passing, movement and finishing in the second half were fantastic. We showed exactly what we are capable of when we believe in each other and play as one team. ❤️

August has been difficult for us with many of our players away on holiday, leaving us with very limited numbers. But the boys who were available stepped up and gave everything for the badge.

I’m very proud of every single one of them. 👏

The second half was special — we worked together, supported each other and played some really good football. This is exactly the team spirit we want to build at Dover Captains FC.

Preseason is about learning, improving and becoming stronger together — and today we showed a lot of character. 🔥

Our very first match in the club’s history… and our very first WIN! 💪🔥

A hard-fought 1-0 victory against Walmer Athletic, with every single player giving everything for the badge. The commitment, teamwork, and determination on display showed exactly what Dover Captains FC is all about.

This is only the beginning, but it’s a fantastic first step for our new club. We know there’s still plenty of work to do, but yesterday we proved that when we work together, we can achieve great things.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us and to Walmer Athletic for a competitive and respectful game. We wish them all the best for the season. 🤝
