Our July prize is a bag of delicious handmade Ely Fudge Company Eton Mess fudge… and one special custom order of Rocky Road fudge.

As Rocky Road is one of their summer specials a little adjustment was needed for this order, and all done swiftly and professionally.

They also offer custom ordering for wedding favours, events, wholesale and corporate gifts.

There’s a lot of flavours to choose from- including seasonal - but my favourite fudge is still their Biscoff, and I highly recommend their Salted Caramel gelato 🍨

I have really loved partnering up with them this month and supporting another small family business 💖

Recently one of my lovely regular clients asked if I’d be willing to support a charity fundraising event taking place this August. The answer was an easy yes!

As I can’t donate ‘in-clinic’ treatments or packages because of safety and ethical guidelines I had to get a little creative…

Since April 2025 Angel Aesthetics has been supporting other small businesses with unpaid collaboration. It’s been such a rewarding experience so I reached out to a few to see if any would like to get involved.

The response absolutely blew me away!

The generosity, kindness and support from these businesses has been incredible, and I’m so grateful to them all 💖

I’m keeping the event and charity under wraps for now until I have permission from the organisers to share those details, but I couldn’t wait to show you what I’ve put together - with a little help from some friends.

So, allow me to introduce… the Angel Aesthetics Collaboration Hamper!

🍷 Chet Valley Vineyard Norfolk – our very first collaboration back in April 2025 as we turned 8. It was so much fun we’ve now made it a birthday tradition.

🍫 Wood Row Chocolate – where art and chocolate collide. Almost too good to eat, almost!

🕯️ Norfolk Hygge | Lifestyle – bringing Scandinavian comfort and Norfolk charm together. Their Espresso Martini candle is one of my favourites.

🍺 Lynn Brewery – a brilliant local craft brewery. We recently partnered with them to celebrate the launch of their gluten free beer.

🍬 Ely Fudge Company –whilst my clinic is in Downham Market I have strong links to Ely. This is a wonderful family business who were kind enough to create a bespoke order especially for our July unpaid collaboration.

🌿 Norfolk Natural Living – everyday luxuries made beautifully, making self care a daily ritual. Their magnesium spray and Deepest Sleep pillow mist have become firm favourites in my home.

Individually, they’re lovely products.

Together, they’re a reminder that when small businesses support each other everyone wins.

Don’t just aspire to inject safely… understand what aspirating can - and can’t tell you.

Whilst I have undertaken extensive training in facial anatomy, vascular occlusion and complications management, and have the relevant emergency protocols in place, I have only ever seen a positive aspiration on videos.

Seeing it happen in real life was…

Very interesting.
Very useful.
Very humbling.

It also reinforced that patient safety must always remain at the forefront of aesthetics practice, and that learning never ever stops.

Aspiration can provide useful information, but it’s not a ‘fail safe’ safety measure. Even after a negative aspiration if the needle tip moves even slightly you’re no longer testing the same anatomical location. A negative aspiration doesn’t completely guarantee that is safe to inject.

Aspiration should be viewed as one part of a wider safety strategy, alongside a thorough understanding of facial anatomy, slow injections, controlled injection pressure, small aliquots, constant awareness of needle tip position, use of cannula where appropriate and continuous patient observation.

I’m not looking to start a debate… everyone has their own clinical opinions on aspirating, techniques and protocols. This is simply something I found fascinating and wanted to share.

This flashback appeared after 13 seconds of aspiration with a 27g needle 😮

And yes - the blood is real - and yes it’s my own. This was purely for educational purposes using an expired syringe of filler.

No clients were harmed in the making of this post 🩸

“Oh Fudge!”

The irony of this is not lost on me 🤣

As part of our July unpaid collaboration prize we’re including this lovely Ely Fudge Company tote bag.

Did we include this on our 1st July post? No 🙈

We’re sorry, oh fudge indeed!

Being named a Skincare finalist at the Official National Beauty Awards UK & IE is a wonderful achievement, but more than anything it reminds me why I do what I do - and why I love it so much.

For the past 9 years I’ve had the privilege of helping people feel more confident through subtle, natural looking aesthetics.

Over the last 2 years I’ve become increasingly passionate about incorporating a holistic approach into that journey. ‘In clinic’ treatments can achieve incredible results and consistent skincare alongside will help to maintain and enhance those results.

That’s why I’ve spent so much time researching skincare and collagen supplements (links to my Save Face UK blog articles on my page). Not everything on the market is created equal and I want to recommend products that are effective, practical to use and offer good value- not just the latest trend. That’s why I only recommend products that I would use myself and with friends and family.

On a more personal note, this recognition means a lot to me on deeper level 💖

At secondary school I was relentlessly bullied - physically, mentally, and emotionally - for being “too clever” and for having “bad skin”. If you’d told that shy girl that one day she’d be helping others improve their skin and feel more confident, as well as being complimented on her own skin I never would have believed you!

Thank you to every client who has trusted me over the last 9 years and supported the evolution of my business. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of your skincare journey 🤍

“That was so quick… is that it?”

I hear this quite a lot and I always take it as a compliment.

What many people don’t see is everything that happens before and after your treatment appointment.

💖 Reviewing your medical history and consultation forms.
💖 Ordering and checking stock.
💖 Cleaning and preparing the clinic.
💖 Completing paperwork and treatment records.
💖 Answering emails and messages.
💖 Managing social media & website (well, trying to!)
💖 Keeping up with training, webinars and the latest evidence.
💖 Completing medical appraisals and maintaining professional standards.

💉And behind it all it is over 9 years of aesthetics injecting experience, refining my techniques, to ensure your treatment is efficient, precise and most importantly safe.

A smooth, quick treatment is the result of hours of preparation, ongoing learning and years of experience.

But still, I’ll take it as a compliment 🙌

And here’s the part I always joke about… the treatment is often the quickest part of the whole process!

After emails & admin the initial consultation can take up to an hour to sure treatment is safe, appropriate and tailored to you.

Plus- I am incredibly passionate about aesthetics and genuinely love what I do so don’t be surprised if we end up talking about skincare, ageing, celebs who have had work done or the latest research.

My enthusiasm sometimes means the consultation takes even longer… but I wouldn’t have it any other way
