As most of you know, it’s been a busy few weeks here at Old School House Beauty. I was away on my surprise hen party in York! My sister Rachel and my best friend Jenny really outdid themselves – I had the most amazing time!

Prepping for your spray tan is just as important as the spray tan application itself! ✨

Here are 5 ways to ensure a flawless, long-lasting tan:

1️⃣ Exfoliate & shave at least 24 hours before your appointment — any closer to your appointment and your tan may not adhere to the skin properly.

2️⃣ If you are waxing, this should be done at least 72 hours before — waxing removes dead skin cells and we don’t want the skin to become irritated.

3️⃣ No moisturiser, deodorant, makeup, perfumes, or body oils on the day of your tan — any products left on the skin can affect the tanning solution, and no one wants green armpits! 😅

4️⃣ Wear loose, dark clothing & flip-flops to your appointment — this helps prevent rubbing and allows the tan to dry properly.
