Foraging for wild food šæ
I love this time of year. The beautiful intensity of autumn colours and the abundance of wild food around us.
Itās an opportunity to connect with the season and gain pleasure and satisfaction from foraging and stocking up your store cupboards.
I made Rowan jelly for the first time. It can be spooned onto toast, eaten with venison or goats cheese. Itās packed with vitamin A and vitamin C.
I also made blackcurrant and blackberry jams, both intense in flavour and vitamins. Yesterday, I picked lots of sloes to make Sloe gin ready for Christmas.
If youāve never foraged for wild food before, I highly recommend it and thereās still plenty of time to get out there and connect with nature šš

I was lucky enough to visit the breathtaking inner Hebridean,Isle of Mull with its stunning coastline with amazing wildlife from the Golden Eagle, abundance of seals, seabirds and otters.Although the weather was mixed ,itās still a beautiful perfect escape.I visited the Isle of Iona with its famous Monastery and the Isle of Staffa by boat, which is a geological wonder and home to hundreds of puffins.I highly recommend it if you want peace, calm and natureš

The Hindu festival of Holi started in India but is now celebrated around the world.
It is known as the festival of love, colours and spring and involves people throwing coloured powder and water at each other.
The two-day festival also celebrates the Hindu god Krishna and the legend of Holika and Prahlad.I was privileged enough to celebrate this wonderful festival this time last year.
Having qualified as a beauty therapist in 1988, I soon moved over into the field of complimentary therapy; gaining qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reiki, Reflexology and Shiatsu.
I base my practice on an holistic, nurturing approach, taking all the aspect of a clientās physical and emotional health. Through these treatments, I aim to achieve a positive feeling of wellbeing for my clients. In order to support this, I use only natural, organic and ethically sourced products, wherever possible.
I still feel as passionate about my practice as when I first started, and continue to discover more about the holistic path as my journey continues.
I see myself as a āfacilitatorā, helping people to cope with the stresses of the world, allowing them to live healthier, calmer and more balanced lifestyles. Through the clientsā needs I enable them to find harmony and balance, without which we cannot find inner peace and happiness.
Blessings to allš
