Just a quick update so everyone knows when I’ll be away over the school holidays.

If you’re due a wax or electrolysis treatment, please don’t assume I’m fully booked or unavailable. The easiest thing to do is send me a message with the dates that work for you, and I’ll do everything I can to fit you in around my family plans, with most appointments being available in the evenings.

If I genuinely can’t accommodate you, I’ll happily recommend another trusted waxing specialist so you’re never left without an option.

Freshly waxed skin is more sensitive than usual, which means too much heat, sun exposure, sweating, hot tubs and saunas can increase the risk of irritation, redness and discomfort.

A few simple steps can help keep your skin calm and your results looking their best:

✔ Avoid waxing sunburnt skin
✔ Keep freshly waxed skin out of direct sun where possible
✔ Wear SPF daily on exposed areas
✔ Follow your aftercare advice for the first 24–48 hours
✔ Stay consistent with your exfoliation routine once your skin has settled

One of the biggest misconceptions about waxing is expecting “perfect” results after just one appointment.

In reality, hair grows in different cycles, which is why regular waxing tends to give better and better results over time.

This is also why shaving between appointments can make things feel more uneven again — it interrupts the progress your wax routine has started creating.

I always explain this to newer clients because understanding the process helps set realistic expectations and usually leads to much better long-term results.

Waxing is very much a journey rather than a one-off treatment

The clients who see the best results are rarely the ones doing anything extreme — they’re usually just consistent with their appointments, gentle with their skin and patient with the process.

A little life update from me

I’ll be heading off for surgery on the 9th May, so I’ll be taking a short break from waxing while I recover.

I’m planning to be back the first week of June, ready to get everyone back to First Class smooth ✨

My diary is open either side of these dates, and I’ll be doing my best to fit everyone in — including a few extra evenings where I can. (There will also be some additional treatments on the service menu!)
