Finally sorted out my days for the end of August and have been able to add Monday 24th!
I know I keep saying it but please don't leave your August appointments to the last minute!

Today was my birthday and I spent it waxing butt cracks! Hooray for me! 😂
Now it's time to stuff my face with chocolate cake! Marc got my numbers in a muddle but i'm definitely not complaining 🤣

Time to relax now...and by relax, I mean to use up the very last bit of energy I have to work on the allotment 😂

Morning everyone. I've had a last minute appointment become available tomorrow, 23rd, at 3pm. X

A wonderful friend (who has also been a client for the last 7 years) gave me this card today! She says that for each position a client adopts I can mark it off like a bingo card, and for every line I get I will win a prize. She hasn't worked out what I'd get for a full house yet 😂

A full day making a start on the allotment and I'm broken 😂

I genuinely have the absolute best clients. Today, like often happens in the waxing room, there has been every emotion going! There's been tears, self sabotage, problem sharing, guilt, but there's also been happiness, excitement and positivity. The day ended with me having to stop what I was doing because I had tears of laughter running down my face and I couldnt actually see what I was doing!
What a day!

☀️ Planning to fake tan? Don't forget this golden rule...Wax First. Fake Tan Second!

If you're planning on waxing and tanning, always leave at least 48 hours between your waxing appointment and applying your fake tan.

Here's why...

1. Waxing exfoliates your skin.
Waxing doesn't just remove unwanted hair, it also removes a layer of dead skin cells. If you tan first, waxing will lift some of that colour away, leaving lighter patches.
If you apply fake tan too soon after waxing, the freshly exfoliated areas will absorb the tanning product differently to the rest of your skin, resulting in a patchy, uneven finish.

2. Your hair follicles need time to close.
Waxing removes hair from the root, leaving your follicles open for around 24–48 hours. Applying fake tan before they've had a chance to close allows the tanning product to settle in the follicles, leaving you covered in little dark dots instead of a an even result.

Eeeeek a tiny bit exited today as we've signed up for an allotment and should have the keys in the next few days! It is currently a waist high jungle so lots or prep to be done before growing can start but I've wanted one for years so can't wait to get stuck in!
If anyone has any pallet collars, pallets (not the painted ones) or plain brown cardboard they want shut of then let me know. In return I an offer you a wonky radish in about 4 years from now 😂
Interesting I'm not the only dronfield waxer with an allotment....it seems we like growing bushes as well as waxing them! 😂
