My gym recently put up a new slogan “ ”, and I wanted to speak about how relevant this message is🏋🏻♀️
As a Sport and MSK physiotherapist, a gym is the at the heart of rehab facilitation and personal growth. It is the best place for patient education, movement analysis, and for progressing your recovery - not on the massage bed🤐
Whilst manual therapy (everyone’s favourite part of physio) is beneficial for relieving pain, and improving joint movement and function - the real quality of life comes from what you do outwith your physiotherapy appointment
Don’t be afraid to get moving - it’s the best thing you can do for your body 🫀🏃🏻♀️➡️🧘🏽♀️🕺🏻🏋🏻♀️🧠🏌🏼♂️🏊🏼♂️⛹️♂️🥇🫁
