I’ve been a bit rubbish at taking before & after photos lately… but let’s be honest, nobody really wants to see pictures of removed hair anyway! 😂 It’s just been super busy in the wax room.

Remember, everyone’s waxing journey is different. You might be wondering, “Why am I getting ingrown hairs when someone else isn’t?” There are so many factors that can affect your skin and hair growth—hormones, medications, your skin type, your hair type, friction from clothing, sweating, and even changes happening within your body.

Aftercare really does matter. Think of it like starting a new gym programme. If you don’t fuel your body properly, you’re not going to get the best results. Waxing is exactly the same—good aftercare helps you get the best results from your wax.

But here’s the thing… even if you’re doing your aftercare, you can still get ingrown hairs. Bodies change, hormones change, hair growth changes, and sometimes your skin just needs something different.

If you’re struggling with ingrown hairs, don’t just put up with them. It might simply be time to change your aftercare routine or try a different product. That’s exactly why I’m here—to help, answer your questions, and find what works best for your skin. 💕

Day 10 of my holiday and yes, a few hairs are starting to pop through.

Before you panic, it doesn’t mean your wax hasn’t worked. Hair growth is completely natural, and there are lots of reasons you might notice a few hairs while you’re away:

Another Monday nearly over! Lots of bodies waxed today, a quick dump run squeezed in, and my suitcase is still sitting out… completely unpacked! 😂 Does anyone else feel like they spend the week before a holiday rushing about like a headless chicken? 🙈✈️

I’m not planning on taking my diary away with me this year, and it’s made me realise that an online booking app might finally be on the cards when I’m back! 🤭

I’ll be away from Saturday 18th July ☀️ and back on Wednesday, 29th July

I often get asked what the best thing is to use with Ruff Stuff.

A My number one recommendation is your clean hands. They’re gentle, you control the pressure, and they’re the most hygienic way to apply your exfoliator.

If you prefer to use a scrubber, I recommend a soft silicone scrubber.
