Another Monday nearly over! Lots of bodies waxed today, a quick dump run squeezed in, and my suitcase is still sitting out… completely unpacked! 😂 Does anyone else feel like they spend the week before a holiday rushing about like a headless chicken? 🙈✈️

I’m not planning on taking my diary away with me this year, and it’s made me realise that an online booking app might finally be on the cards when I’m back! 🤭

I’ll be away from Saturday 18th July ☀️ and back on Wednesday, 29th July

Please make sure you know when your appointment is. I usually send reminders, but I can’t always guarantee it, especially while I’m away.

My next availability is week beginning Monday 3rd August, so if you’d like to get booked in, just drop me a message before I go! 💕

Don’t let your exfoliator be the cause of your skin problems! 👇

I often get asked what the best thing is to use with Ruff Stuff.

A My number one recommendation is your clean hands. They’re gentle, you control the pressure, and they’re the most hygienic way to apply your exfoliator.

If you prefer to use a scrubber, I recommend a soft silicone scrubber.

❌ Mesh shower puffs, exfoliating mitts and gloves can trap dead skin, moisture and bacteria, even when they’re rinsed after use. Over time, they can become less hygienic and may contribute to irritation.

If you’ve ever thought about getting waxed, drop me a message. A wax appointment never takes long and is over before you know it. It’s honestly never as bad as people imagine! Yes, it can be a little spicy now and again, but the laughs usually make it all worthwhile. 😅

All my lovely clients this week off on holiday ✈️☀️ have the most amazing time away!

And to everyone just keeping on top of their waxing routine… I’ll see you all again next month.

Just a little reminder from your waxer 🩷

As most of you know, I work from home, so I don’t have a waiting area.

If you arrive early, please wait in your car. If you’ve come on foot 👣, just wait outside or take a seat on the step until it’s time for your appointment.

If you’re a new client and arrive early, please don’t worry if you ring the bell and I don’t come straight away. I’ll most likely still be with my previous client and will come to the door as soon as I’m ready for you.

So, if your appointment is at 1:30pm, please don’t arrive at 1:10pm. I don’t like ignoring anyone, but I’ll probably still be in a treatment. I always come down as close to your appointment time as possible.

I very rarely run behind, and if I’m running early, I’ll always pop you a message to see if you can come in sooner.

I know the traffic can be a nightmare, so please do your best to arrive on time. I allow enough time for every appointment and always do my best to accommodate everyone. Super-speed waxing only goes so far! 😂

Need to cancel or rearrange? No problem at all—life happens! Just please remember my cancellation policy.

P.S. Just to make life even more interesting… roadworks are due to start on Edinburgh Road from Monday 6th July 🤦🏼‍♀️ Please allow yourself a little extra travel time.

Can you believe it’s July on Wednesday? 😅 The months are flying by!

This week is fully booked 🙌 and there are only the odd spaces in the run up to my holidays.

Just a reminder of my holidays: Saturday 18th July – Wednesday 29th July. I’ll be back waxing on the 29th July, and that week is pretty much fully booked already.

Just a little reminder for all you beauties with waxing appointments coming up…

✨ Let your hair grow to the right length.
✨ Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before your appointment.
✨ Avoid sunburn or freshly tanned skin.
✨ If you’re on your period, that’s absolutely fine—just pop a fresh tampon or menstrual cup in before your appointment.
