🌟 Community Kindness at Its Best 🌟
We’re incredibly grateful to Karmand, Bahman, and Sirwan from DG1 barber shop in Dumfries, who recently held a Charity Day and raised an amazing £1,050 in support of the Alexander Unit. They came in to meet with the staff and see where their donation is going to. What makes this donation even more special is the heartfelt reason behind it. As refugees who have made the UK their home, the team wanted to give back to the Dumfries community that welcomed them, and they’ve done so with warmth, generosity, and purpose.

Their kindness is a shining example of how local businesses and individuals can make a real difference. 💙 Thank you, DG1 barber shop , for your support of NHS Dumfries & Galloway Charity and for being such a positive force in our community.

Here at DG1 Barber, we’re proud to be part of the Dumfries community. On Friday, 17th October 2025, our team will be making a special donation to the Alexander Unit at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary.

This is more than just a gesture—it’s a way of saying thank you to the dedicated staff who care for patients with such kindness and professionalism every day. 💙

After the donation, we’ll also be arranging a visit and photo with the team at the Unit. We’ll be sure to share that moment with you all. 📸
