A tan is your skin’s natural adaptive response to UV exposure. 🤎

A burn is a sign your skin has received more UV than it can safely handle. 🔥🚫

They are not the same thing. 🙅‍♀️

🤎 Know your skin type.
⏳ Give your skin time to adapt between tanning sessions and outdoor sun exposure.
💧 Keep your skin hydrated.
🚫 Avoid burning.

🏆 There’s no prize for getting the darkest tan the fastest.

Whether you tan indoors, outdoors, or both, your skin still needs time to recover and adapt between UV exposures. More UV doesn’t automatically mean a darker tan, it only increases your risk of overexposure. 🤎☀️
