I trained as a cutler a number of years ago and now have my own Tormek sharpening systems and greatly enjoy bringing new life to dulled tools.
Based in Dunbar, Scotland but serving all of East Lothian, bringing new life to your favourite tools through sharpening, polishing, restoring and sometimes even repairing. Having spent much of my life working as a builder and landscaper with a hobby of cooking on the side, I understand the value of working with tools that are properly sharpened.
Hi everyone, the keener eyed amongst you may have noticed we announced closing down our business a few months ago. However, some of our loyal customers encouraged us to keep going.
So after some careful and inspired thinking, we are actually expanding our wee business to include our specialised wood and sea glass creations!
We are also accepting commissions.
So if you need your tools sharpened and restored, a wooden chopping board hand made from local, responsibly sourced trees, or a beautiful picture and caption made from locally sourced sea glass - give us a shout!

We've been a bit quiet on social media recently. Life and work has had us quite busy. And making these beautiful new chopping boards!
Handmade by us from responsibly sourced East Lothian trees. No chemicals, simply oiled down with an all natural mineral oil.
Various sizes available and now being sold in the shop, which has many lovely locally made Christmas gifts and decorations, as well as tasty eco and fair trade Christmas treats.
