Good evening everyone,

I just wanted to share some news with you all. After much thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to close my nail business with immediate effect. I will, of course, be honouring all appointments already booked for next week, but my diary is now officially closed.

As many of you know, before becoming a mum I spent 15 years working in the travel industry – a career I absolutely loved. Last year I was given the opportunity to return to that world by joining our local travel agents in Haddington as a home worker. What started as something I thought I could balance alongside nails has grown so much busier than I ever expected – which is amazing – but it also means I simply can’t continue to run both businesses.

I want to say a huge heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for your support over the last 9 years. So many of you have become not just clients but friends, and I’m truly grateful.

Just a little update from me… I’m still working, but I’ve reduced my nail hours slightly because the travel business has really taken off — and that’s thanks to so many of you booking your holidays with me. I truly can’t thank you enough! 🩷

For those of you who don’t know my background — I worked in the travel industry for 20 years before having my children, then trained in nails so I could work from home while raising my family. Last summer, I was given the chance to join our local travel agency in Haddington as a homeworker based here in Dunbar. It was a tough decision because I genuinely love doing nails, but my true passion lies in travel.

I’m now doing nails two days a week, but can be flexible around travel appointments and holiday planning.

Working in travel was my career before having my children, and it’s always been a true passion of mine. It’s not just a job—it’s a dream come true to help people plan and enjoy their holidays.

Thanks to the success of this new venture, I’ll be reducing my nail hours to 2.5 days a week to focus more on travel.
