Who am I?
Hi, I’m Ava, I’m 22 and I’m the owner of The Olive Retreat 🤎 I’m a qualified Beauty Therapist & Skin Practitioner and have been working in the beauty industry for 6+ years.

Why did I open The Olive Retreat?
I opened The Olive Retreat because I wanted to create something that felt completely authentic to me — a little space focused on the treatments I genuinely love, while giving you the relaxation and results you deserve.

I’ve always felt that skincare shouldn’t be just about results. Of course, I want you to see a difference in your skin, but I also believe that feeling calm, comfortable and relaxed throughout your treatment is just as important. I wanted to create a space where you can switch off from everyday life, enjoy your treatment and leave feeling completely restored. 🫒

Where did you work before?
Before The Olive Retreat, I owned my own salon in Monifieth for 3 years, which I absolutely loved. But I reached a point where I felt ready for a change and to move into my next chapter — creating a space that was more focused on me, my treatments and the way I wanted to work.

What’s my favourite treatment?
This one is SO hard because facials are definitely my favourite — skincare really is my passion! 🤎

But if I had to choose just one, it would be an enzyme treatment with dermaplaning. I love the results, especially when combined with carefully selected products to create a completely personalised treatment for your skin.

I’m so grateful to have created The Olive Retreat and even more grateful to everyone who books, supports, recommends and follows along. 🫒☁️

The before & the after is just wow… jackys skin is always a pleasure to work with but this particular treatment really delivered🫒

We did the Circadia firming peptide treatment which is our luxe lift facial, it contains 2 different peptides designed to lift tighten and firm your skin..☁️

You can see the definition in jackys cheekbones & overall plumpness in her skin which really is incredible considering this was only one treatment🫧
