Little Holiday Update

Although I’m away enjoying some quality time with my family over the summer holidays, my diary is still open!

My replies will be a little slower than usual while I’m away, but I promise I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I can.

The earlier you message, the better your chance of securing the appointment you want, as my diary fills up very quickly and I hate disappointing people when I’m fully booked.

Hi everyone 🩷

I just wanted to write a little personal update, as I feel it’s important to be open with you all.

Many of you have commented over the last few months about my weight loss or asked if I’m okay, and I truly appreciate everyone who has checked in on me.

The truth is, this year has been a bit of a rollercoaster behind the scenes. I’ve been experiencing significant weight loss, constant exhaustion, aching bones and joints, feeling sick most of the time, and even waking up during the night with my bedsheets absolutely soaked from night sweats. Alongside that, I’ve continued working, studying, and balancing family life, which has definitely taken its toll.

After several appointments with my GP and hospital, with more scans and investigations still to come, I’ve now been diagnosed with anaemia and coeliac disease. I’ve also been found to have extremely low blood pressure, my thyroid levels have been all over the place, and I’m currently underweight. Once everything was explained to me, so many of the symptoms I’ve been living with finally started to make sense.

For anyone who doesn’t know, coeliac disease is an autoimmune condition where eating gluten causes your immune system to attack the lining of your small intestine. This can affect how your body absorbs important nutrients such as iron, which can contribute to anaemia, fatigue, weight loss, and many of the symptoms I’ve been experiencing. It’s a lifelong condition, but with the right treatment and a strict gluten-free diet, it can be managed really well.

I’m now focusing on getting my health back on track, following medical advice, and looking after myself properly.

If I’ve had to cancel or rearrange your appointment at any point this year, please know that’s something I absolutely hate doing. My clients mean the world to me, and anyone who knows me knows I’ll always go above and beyond.

Despite everything, I’m genuinely doing okay, and I still absolutely love what I do.

Here’s to getting healthier, feeling stronger, and continuing to do what I love.

What a beautiful long weekend celebrating Melody turning 9, going away was one of her birthday gifts.

We’ve had the most amazing few days making memories 🩷

I’m so happy to share that I’ve had the results back from my final ever university assessment… and I got an A! 🥹

I also want to say a heartfelt thank you to all of my lovely clients for your patience and support along the way. I know I haven’t always posted as much as I’d like to, and at times I’ve taken a longer to reply to messages, but I truly appreciate you all bearing with me. Fatherhood, full time university and running a business isn’t easy.

Your continued support, bookings, recommendations and kindness have meant so much, especially while I’ve been balancing everything.
