A little reminder about review appointments after injectable treatments with me.

After treatment, your body needs time to settle. Swelling, bruising, slight unevenness and small lumps or bumps can all make things look a little different in the first couple of weeks, which is exactly why I don’t assess the final result too early.

If something still looks off, strange or different once things have settled, I’m always happy to review it.

My review window is between day 14 and day 21 after treatment.

Most people do not need a review at all, and that is completely normal. A review does not automatically mean more product is added either.

I will never add extra product just for the sake of it.

At a review, I assess the area properly, look at symmetry, movement, healing and the overall result, and only carry out a touch-up or correction if I genuinely feel it is needed.

Adding more product unnecessarily does not make your treatment last longer, and more is definitely not always better. My aim is always a safe, balanced and natural-looking result.

Please also remember that reviews must take place within the 14–21 day window. If more than 3 weeks have passed, any further product required will be charged at the normal full treatment/product cost, regardless of the circumstances.

Reviews are there for reassurance, assessment and any genuine little adjustments that may be needed, not simply as an appointment for “more product”.

I hear little apologies in my clinic more often than people probably realise.

“Sorry, I’ve got no makeup on.”
“Sorry, my skin is awful today.”
“Sorry, I look exhausted.”
“Sorry, I’m nervous.”
“Sorry, I’ve put weight on.”
“Sorry, I’m a mess today.”

And I wish I could make every single person understand this: you never need to apologise for being human with me.

You are allowed to have bad skin days. You are allowed to feel tired. You are allowed to feel nervous, emotional, quiet, self-conscious or completely unlike yourself.

I don’t expect perfection to walk through my door.

I just expect you.

My job isn’t to sit and pick you apart. It’s to listen to you, look after you, give you honest advice and make sure you feel comfortable and respected.

There are enough places in the world that make us feel as though we need to look a certain way, behave a certain way or have everything together.

I never want my clinic to be one of them.

Come tired. Come nervous. Come makeup-free. Come chatty. Come quiet. Come exactly as you are.

October working dates 🩷

It’s okay to start small.

You do not need to completely change your face to enjoy aesthetics.

In fact, some of the nicest results come from doing very little, just enough to soften, balance, refresh or enhance what is already there.

If you are new to aesthetics, feeling nervous, or simply know that you want something subtle, that is completely fine with me.

I will always listen to what you want, look at your natural features, and recommend an approach that feels appropriate for you.

Sometimes that might be a small amount of filler.
Sometimes it might be a skin treatment.
Sometimes it might be anti-wrinkle treatment.
And sometimes it may be that you do not need as much as you think.

There is no pressure to have more.

There is no pressure to keep adding treatments.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting results that are soft, natural and barely noticeable to anyone except you.

For me, aesthetics should help you feel more confident, not make you feel like you need to become someone else.

So if you have been thinking about booking but you are worried about looking “overdone”, please know that subtle is always welcome here.

We can start small, take our time, and only ever do what feels right for you.

FUN FACT ABOUT ME… 🇦🇺

Did you know I actually hold an Australian passport and I’m officially an Australian citizen?

So, going forward, I’d just like everyone to remember this very important piece of information…

If I’m ever running late to your appointment, I’m on Australian time.

If I’m ridiculously early, also Australian time.

If I’m exactly on time?

Pure coincidence. Don’t get used to it.

And before anyone points out that Australia is several hours AHEAD of us and therefore this excuse makes absolutely no sense whatsoever…

I’m asking you to kindly mind your own business 😂

So from now on, there will be no such thing as “Jonathan’s running late.”

No pressure. Just honest advice.

One of the most important things to me is that you never feel like you’re being “sold” a treatment.

When you come to me, I’m not looking at you thinking about what else I can add on. I’m looking at what you’ve told me, what you’d like to achieve, what suits your features, and what is actually appropriate for you.

Sometimes that means recommending a treatment.

Sometimes it means suggesting a more subtle option.

Sometimes it means saying, “I don’t think you need that.”

And I think that honesty matters.

Aesthetics should never be about making you feel like you need to change everything about yourself. It should be about helping you feel more confident, while still looking like you.

I’ll always talk you through the options, explain the pros and cons, discuss realistic expectations, and make sure you have the information you need to make your own decision.

No hard sell.
No pressure to book.
No pressure to add more.
No one-size-fits-all approach.

Just professional, personalised advice based on what genuinely suits you.

A little firm reality check from me…

Aesthetic treatments involve healing time.

Swelling, bruising, tenderness, unevenness and temporary little lumps & bumps can happen after injectable treatments. Some clients get hardly anything, while others swell or bruise much more noticeably.

I always ask my clients to give their body time to settle and not judge their result immediately after treatment.

So please, if you have a wedding, holiday, birthday, photoshoot or big event and you genuinely do not have time to heal, book for another date.

And I’ll say this with love…

If you think you’re somehow invincible to swelling, bruising or temporary lumps & bumps, I would genuinely rather you didn’t book with me.

I will never promise you zero downtime just to get a booking.

I’d much rather be completely honest about what your treatment and healing process can involve.

Safety, proper healing and a beautiful final result will always come before instant perfection.

You’re always allowed to change your mind.

I think this is something so important for every client to know before coming to see me.

Booking a consultation or appointment does not mean you have to go ahead with treatment. It simply means we have the chance to talk things through properly, discuss what you’d like to achieve, go over suitability, and make sure you feel fully informed.

If, after that, you decide you’d rather wait, think about it a little longer, or not go ahead at all, that is completely okay.

There should never be pressure when it comes to your face, your body, or your confidence.

I want every client who comes to me to feel comfortable, respected and in control throughout the whole process. My role is to guide you honestly, answer your questions, and help you make the decision that feels right for you.

Sometimes that means going ahead with treatment.
Sometimes that means taking more time.
And sometimes it means deciding it isn’t for you at all.

Whatever you choose, you will always be treated with care and respect.

Your comfort matters. Your choice matters. And informed, safe decisions will always come first with me.
